Unit 1 You and Me Section B 教学设计
一、教学目标
语言知识目标
学生能够掌握更多描述人物性格和外貌特征的词汇,如 friendly, kind, tall, short 等。
学习并运用句型描述自己和他人的性格、外貌,如 I'm friendly. He is tall and thin. 等。
巩固和拓展句型:I'm... I like... I'm... and I'm... 来更全面地介绍自己。
语言技能目标
能够听懂关于人物描述的对话,并获取关键信息。
能够用所学词汇和句型进行人物的描述和介绍。
能够书写简单的人物描述短文。
情感态度目标
培养学生观察和欣赏他人优点的能力。
增强学生对自我和他人的认知和理解。
二、教学重难点
教学重点:
重点词汇和句型的理解与运用。
能够准确、生动地描述人物的性格和外貌。
教学难点:如何引导学生将词汇和句型灵活运用到实际的描述中。

四、教学过程
Step 1: Warm-up and Review (5 minutes)
播放一段轻松的音乐,让学生自由交流,回顾上节课关于个人介绍的内容。
随机邀请几位学生用“I'm... I like...”句型简单介绍自己。
Play a short and lively video about people introducing themselves. Pause the video at key points and ask students to recall and share the information they just heard, such as names, ages and hobbies.
Select a few students and have a quick conversation to review the vocabulary and sentence structures learned in Section A. For example, ask: "What's your name How old are you What's your hobby " and encourage them to answer fluently.
Step 2: Presentation (6 minutes)
Show pictures of different people on the PPT. For each picture, describe the person's character or appearance using the new words.
Present the words "friendly", "kind", "tall", "short", "thin", "fat" one by one on the blackboard. Explain the meanings clearly and emphasize the pronunciation. Have students repeat each word several times.
Do some actions or use facial expressions to demonstrate the meanings of the words.
讲解拓展句型:I'm... and I'm... 以及 like doing sth. 的用法。
Ask students to think of people they know in their lives who have these characteristics and share their examples with the class.
Step 3: Sentence Structures Learning (6 minutes)
Write the sentence structures "I'm + adjective" and "He/She is + adjective" on the blackboard. Explain how to use them to describe oneself and others.
Give some examples and have students imitate and make their own sentences. For instance, "I'm kind. I like to help others." or "She is short but very cute."
Say the structure loudly and have students repeat it quickly several times.
Step 4: Listening and Comprehension (6 minutes)
Play the listening material of this section. Before playing, give students a few guiding questions to focus their listening.
Students listen carefully and take notes. After listening, they work in pairs to discuss and answer the questions.
Check the answers together and play the recording again for difficult parts to ensure students understand clearly.
Step 5: Group Discussion and Presentation (7 minutes)
Divide students into groups of four. Each group is given a set of pictures of different people.
Students in the group discuss and describe the characters and appearances of the people in the pictures using the words and sentence structures they have learned. They should try to be as detailed as possible.
Each group selects a representative to come to the front and present their descriptions. The other groups listen carefully and guess which picture is being described.
After each presentation, encourage other groups to give comments and suggestions to improve the descriptions.
Step 6: Writing Practice (6 minutes)
Provide a template for a short paragraph on the PPT:
My friend is ______. He/She is _____. He/She is ______ and ______. His/Her hobby is ____."
Ask students to choose one of their friends and fill in the blanks to write a short description. Remind them to use the correct vocabulary and sentence structures.
Step 7: Summary (3 minutes)
总结本节课所学的新词汇和句型。
强调在介绍自己时要突出个人特点和爱好。
Step 7: Homework (1 minutes)
用所学内容为自己制作一张英文名片。
采访一位朋友,并用英语记录他的介绍。

六、教学反思
