资源简介 Unit1 Relationships Lesson2 Teachers基本信息教材: 北师大版新教材 课题:U1 L2 Teachers 课型:阅读课 授课教师:罗广妹 授课年级:高二年级指导思想和理论依据教学设计围绕语篇主题意义,使学生在有层次的教学活动中,通过多种学习方式,获取和理解语篇内容、建构新知识,并逐步加深对老师的崇敬之情和自己要努力拼搏的意识,形成新的态度和正确的价值观念。教学内容分析主题语境:人与社会——师生关系 语篇类型:记叙文 【What】 【Why】 作者希望学生通过阅读这两篇文章,从 Graham前后的巨大变化,体会到教师对学生的重大影响,认识到教育方法对学生的重要性(外因)。同时,学生也能从 Graham的身上体会到兴趣及自身努力对于学习和成功的重要性(内因)。 【How】 本课文本是两篇记叙文。第一篇叙述者是学生 Graham,主要由三部分组成:1.回忆自己在见老师 Mr Jenkins之前的状态;2.回忆 Mr Jenkins的教学方法和对自己的信任与鼓励;3. 表明自己在教师的帮助下重获自信,投身科学,并且走向成功。第二篇叙述者是教师 Mr Jenkins,主要由两部分组成1.回忆对学生 Graham的印象;2.说明自己的教育念。 作者在行文上采用了对比的手法展现了 Graham在遇到 Mr Jenkins前后的巨大变化。在 Mr Jenkins的教育和帮助下, Graham不仅对学习产生了兴趣,开始取得了良好的成绩,并最终走向了与科学相关的工作岗位,改变了人生轨迹。在对比过程中恰当地运用了过去式和过去完成时,例如 Before Mr Jenkins taught me,science had simply been a subject…与 Graham was very difficult before he came into my class. I had heard stories…If 引出的虚拟和条件句也更真实的体现了叙述者的真实情感。如:if only I could call him, if what I do as a teacher… 另外,两篇都配以说明性的图片,并以第一人称进行叙述,语言真实可信,让学生有很强的带入感。第一篇以学生视角进行的叙述,语言相对熟悉,简单,对学生更具亲和力;第二篇以教师视角进行的叙述,尤其是谈到教育理念时,语言略难,会对学生理解造成一定障碍。教学目标在本课学习结束时,学生能够: Language ability: Identity Graham’s and Mr Jenkins’s account to each other in reading、listening and speaking. Cultural awareness: Realize the importance of a teacher and his teaching ways to a student. Recognize the importance of interest and diligence to study and success. Form a right value towards the relationship between teacher and student. Learning ability: Learn to identity specific information in reading by scanning、skimming and inferring. Learn to take notes while reading and revise notes while listening. Learn to use mind-map to integrate pieces of information.
