(Justification:Presenting learning objectives helps students to have a self-test.Use the familiar context to learn new knowledge so as to quickly activate what they've learned and watch a video about their peer's senior high school day will arouse their interest.) Step 2 Observe and discover (17m) 1.SV and SVO: Exhibit the first senior high school day of Abby (an American senior high student)at 7:00 a.m.and show the two basic sentence structures,SV,SVO:1) The clock rang. 2)Abby woke up. 3) She had breakfast. Then,students observethem and identify their elements, namely,subject (S),verb(V),object(O)and know their different functions in sentences. 2.SV,SVO,and SP:Showcase the scene about Abby's day at 8:15 a.m.and display two basic sentence structures,SV and SP 1) Her classmates and she attended assembly. 2) They felt happy.And ask students to identify the subject(S),verb(V),object(O)and predicative(P)and lead students to review the linking verbs they have learned by using a memory tricks(五感五变三保持, 一 是 一 像永不忘)to remember them.Afterwards,continue to present the scene of morning assembly and let students to observe the three sentences 1)The headmaster gave the speech.2) The students clapped.3) They were excited.
