资源简介 人教版Unit 2 MORALS AND VIRTUESReading and Thinking教学设计2017年版《普通高中英语课程标准》指出普通高中英语课程是高中阶段全面贯彻党的教育方针、落实立德树人根本任务、发展英语学科核心素养、培养社会主义建设者和接班人的基础文化课程,并明确了包括语言能力、学习能力、思维品质和文化品格的英语学科的核心素养。本文以核心素养为基础,以阅读课堂设计为载体,将核心素养理念切实有效地贯穿于英语课堂。文本解读主题语境:人与社会——道德与美德语篇类型:以一篇介绍林巧稚的面临的人生抉择的人物小传为依托,达到运用相关语言讲述自己人生选择的目的。教材分析:本课选自人教版新版《普通高中教科书英语必修三》Unit 2 Morals and virtues,标题为“Mother of ten thousand babies”。该板块的阅读文本是一篇人物小传、文章按照时间顺序叙述了林巧稚的一生,其中着重描写了她曾面临的人生抉择,例如:是遵循中国传统的道德观念结婚成家,还是不顾学费高昂去追求自己的医学梦,是留在条件优厚、前景美好的异国发展,还是回到苦难深重的祖国为之效力?是选择拥有自己的小家庭,还是为了中国无数的家庭而坚持不解她工作 而林巧雅所作出的抉择无不反映了她坚定的位念、美好的心灵、高度的职业责任感和奉献精神。1)语言能力:学生能够通过梳理林巧稚的人生经历,了解林巧稚面临的三大人生抉择。分析林巧稚的性格特点,理解人生道路上的“道德困境”。2)学习能力:能够根据时间顺序或者事件发展的先后次序来叙事。学生能够通过分析文本的结构和语言,概括人物传记的叙写方式和语言特点,最后自己能够讲述自己人生选择的故事。3)文化意识:学生能够通过分析林巧稚的所做所说所想,提炼林巧稚的人物品质,了解人们所推崇的道德观念与美好品质,如善良、敬业、无私、诚信、责任感等。4)思维品质:能够辨别什么是道德困境,客观分析和推理身处困境的人的不同选择可能产生的结果和影响,从而打破二元对立的思维模式,学会全面地、客观地、理性地看待问题,进而对道德和人性有更加深入的思考和理解。教学重点:梳理林巧稚的人生经历,了解林巧稚面临的三大人生抉择,分析林巧稚的性格特点。教学难点:通过分析文本的结构和语言,概括人物传记的叙写方式和语言特点,讲述自己人生选择的故事。教学过程Activity 1 :Talk about life’s choices.Listen to the teacher sharing life choices in life and discuss the following questions.What are the important life choices When facing these choices,what would you do 设计说明:用相关主题导入话题,激活学生思考人生不同阶段的重要抉择,获取本课主题相关信息。Activity 2: Make predictions about the reading passage.Look at the title and the picture in the textbook, who is the mother 1.What aspects will the text talk about 2.What kind of text is it 3.
