学 情 分 析 As a freshman in senior high school, my students have a high interest in learning and can simply speak about natural disasters, but may not be familiar with some names of disasters mentioned in the textbook when describing disaster scenes.Vocabulary is lacking, and there is no systematic grasp of how to report news. so but they can understand some simple words and sentences. so I'll design some interesting activities to attract their attention.
教 学 目 标 Learning objectives: Students can master the main idea of the passage and learn some important words.Such as: well, pond, burst, canals, steam, dirt, injure, brick, dam, useless, steel, shock, rescue, quake, electricity, army, shelter, fresh, organize, bury, at an end, dig out, coal mine, in ruins Enable the students to describe the earthquake of Tangshan. Ability objective (1) Help the students learn how to describe the earth of Tangshan. (2) Help the students master the target language by doing some exercises Emotional objective Let students cherish and love life

教 学 反 思 This lesson is a reading lesson, combining the thematic context of the unit and the main learning tasks of the unit, and leading students to expand English expressions about various natural disasters in the introduction part. Through video and picture presentations, students are guided to obtain key information. Students learn words about natural disasters, and then introduce one of the natural disasters in this lesson: earthquakes. Through the structure of the article, students can understand before earthquake, during earthquake and after the earthquake, it not only expand their vision, but also enhance their awareness of earthquake protection, and let them know how to cherish life. In the teaching process, the reading activities in the teaching process are taught in the form of interactive cooperation, which truly reflects the activity view of English learning.
