写作技法
为故事续写一个结尾
Ⅰ.技能指导
1.写作指南：
本单元的写作任务是读后续写,在续写部分要做到想象合理,上下衔接,内容通顺,逻辑合理。在写作时要注意以下几点：
（1）注意与所给短文及段落开头语的衔接程度；
（2）情节设计要有合理性,续写的部分应该是故事的高潮和结尾部分,不能有太多的细枝末节；
（3）不能随意添加故事的人物；
（4）在读后续写中不宜过度追求标新立异。
读后续写写作步骤：
（1）阅读——了解故事
快速阅读故事，了解故事线索，这样有利于“顺藤摸瓜”，了解人物关系和事件的脉络。另外，要弄清楚文章的矛盾点，这样才能在续写中精确解决矛盾。
（2）续写——完成故事
仔细审题，明确续写要求，确定续写结尾的内容。
2.常用表达：
（1）心理活动
dance/jump with joy高兴得跳起来
be delighted at/by对……很高兴
in high spirits心情愉快;情绪高涨
a strong sense of loss强烈的失落感
with a heavy heart怀着沉重的心情
make one's heart bleed使某人心碎
（2）对话描写

Ⅱ.情景再现
阅读下面材料,根据其内容和所给段落开头语续写两段,使之构成一篇完整的短文。
A little girl named Fern saved a thin baby pig from her father and called him Wilbur. She loved him more than anything. She loved to touch him, to feed him and to put him to bed.
Every morning, as soon as she got up, she warmed his milk, tied his bib（围嘴儿） on, and held the bottle for him. Wilbur loved his milk, and he was the happiest when Fern was warming up a bottle for him. He would stand and gaze（凝视） up at her with adoring eyes. Every afternoon, as soon as she got home from school, she would take him out and he would follow her around the place.
One warm afternoon, Fern put on the bathing suit and went down to the river for a swim. Following Fern, Wilbur amused himself in the mud along the edge of the river. Every day was a happy day and every night was peaceful.
It wasn't long before he got too big. So Fern's parents had to send Wilbur away. But Fern broke down, weeping as if her heart had been torn into pieces. She only said yes when her parents agreed to send him to her uncle Mr. Homer L.Zucker-man's barn（谷仓）.
Wilbur's new home was in the lower part of the barn. Fern came, almost every day, to visit him. She found an old milking chair and placed it next to Wilbur's pen（围栏）. Mr. Zuckerman did not allow her to take Wilbur out nor get into the pigpen. But he told Fern that she could sit on the chair and watch Wilbur as long as she wanted to. It made her happy just to be near the pig, and it made Wilbur happy to know that she was sitting there, right outside the fence of his pen. But he never had any fun, no walks, no rides and no swims. Practicing jumping in the pen was his only fun.
One afternoon in June, much to Wilbur's disappointment, Fern didn't arrive for her usual visit. Wilbur stood in the pen, feeling lonely and bored. So much did he miss Fern that his eyes were full of tears in no time.

Wandering back and forth, he was thinking what to do. It suddenly occurred to him that he could jump out of the pen, because jumping was his strength. Walking to the fence, he tried his best to jump over it. To his surprise, he made it. So happy was he that he jumped up and down with excitement. Unfortunately, Mr. and Mrs. Zuckerman happened to come to the barn and found Wilbur was out of his pen. They immediately made every effort to catch him.
Mrs. and Mr. Zuckerman failed to drive Wilbur back to his pen but saw him rush into the bush.

The couple were at a loss what to do and told Fern the bad news. Fern hurried to her uncle's home, ran into the bush and looked for Wilbur,feeling worried and regretful. As night was beginning to fall, Fern still didn't find Wilbur. A ripple of disappointment welled up inside her. “Wilbur, where are you I regret not coming earlier to see you, but this is because I prepared a surprise gift for you,” Fern said. Suddenly, some noises attracted her attention. Out rushed Wilbur from among the bushes. They hugged each other tightly. Finally the pair of friends got together again, tears streaming down their cheeks.
