The topic of this class is “get ready to travel.” The listening text is consist of two parts. One is that Meilin introduced her uncle and aunt’ s plan to travel to Europe to Paul. Other one is that Paul introduced his plan to travel to Lijiang, Yunnan with his parents. The present tense was deliberately used in the dialogue to indicate future plans. The purpose is to make students familiar with the structure of future plans through listening input activities.学 情 分 析 The foundation of English in this class is poor. Because the subject of English is relatively difficult, many students have lost interest in English learning. This class is a listening and speaking class, which is difficult for students. Therefore, I use their experience in the import part to resonate. Therefore, I use their travel experience in the lead-in part to resonate. The theme of this unit is tourism, which can attract students' interest.教 学 目 标 Students can understand the key points when other people discuss travel plans. Students can talk about preparing for travel and how to make reservations for a trip. Students can have the ability to learn cooperatively after class. Teacher trains the students’ ability to pronunciation and listen.教 学 重 难 点 Teacher teaches students how to focus on key words. Teacher prompt students to talk about the related topics, such as how to prepare for the trip and make a travel plan.课 前 准 备 Teacher prepared relevant travel pictures and audio for this lesson. Teacher made PPT, including some practice of the listening content. Teacher arrange students for pre-class preview, including some travel-related words教 学 方 法 Cooperative Teaching Method Task-based Language Teaching教 学 过 程 Step 1: Lead in Firstly, teacher will show a video about some famous tourist places for students. And then, teacher will talk with students about the places that they had traveled before. Question: 1. Do you like travelling Where do you want yo travel most 2. What preparations did you make before going on a trip Step 2: Before-listening 1. Review some words about travelling: get a passport apply for a visa book tickets book a hotel room rent a car buy a guidebook pack some clothes research the local weather 2. Listening tip: Focus on the key words Do not try to focus on every single word in a conversation. Instead, you should listen for key words and phrases. Step 3: While-listening 1. Extensive listening Teacher play the tape which is about Paul and Meilin’s conversation about coming holiday. Activities: Students should listen the conversations carefully and finish the activity 2. Then check their answers. 2. Intensive listening Ask students listen the conversations for the second time Answer the questions in the activity 3. Where is Paul’ s family going over the holiday Why are they going there Listening and repeating Ask students listen the conversations for the third time Fill in the table in the activity 4 Read after the tape. Step 4 post-listening Work in pairs. Students should choose a travel destination and discuss how to prepare for the trip. And teacher ask students to finish activity 5. Step 5 Homework Write down the conversation you have created about your travelling plan. Practise the conversation as much as possible.板 书 设 计 Unit 2 Travelling around: get ready to travel Listening tip: focus on the key words教 学 反 思 本节课是听说课,12班的学生整体英语基础较差,听和说对他们来说都是非常困难的,而且部分同学由于基础差导致失去了学习英语的兴趣。所以在本节课导入部分,我给他们展示一些世界各地的旅游景点来吸引学生的兴趣,并且用两个问题“你喜欢去旅游吗?你最想去哪里旅游?”和“去旅游的话要需要准备什么?”引起学生对本课主题的思考。本节课的教学目标是让学生掌握在听力中抓到关键词和用英语表达旅游计划,在本节课过程中,较好完成了教学目标。但是由于词汇量和长期学习英语来对听说的不重视,导致部分同学不敢用英语表达自己,在此后也让应该多让学生练习。本节课没有把握好节奏,前面讲得略快,导致后面有些拖沓,以后在备课时要注意安排好各个环节的授课时间。 展开更多...... 收起↑ 资源预览
