教 材 分 析 本单元以旅游为主题展开,内容包括制定旅行计划、出行准备、景点介绍、旅行文明行为以及旅游业发展的利弊讨论等内容。本节课为听说课,主要是探讨旅行计划的制定,通过一系列的活动展示旅行计划的制定以及出游所要注意的事项。
学 情 分 析 本单元所面对的学生是刚从初中进入高中阶段,还需要初高中知识衔接,英语水平都不高,并且大部分学生都没有接触过旅行计划的制定,因此对于本单元的话题和知识都有所欠缺。同时本班学生的听力与口语能力都很差,需要从基础进行教学,因此设计的教学问题需要由浅入深。
教 学 目 标 Develop students’ listening skills to solve problem. Train students’ ability to listen. Instruct students to get main facts by listening and motivate them to talk about the topics about how to prepare for the trip.
教 学 重 难 点 Teach students how to catch the key words,not on single words or grammar. Students can talk about the travel plan though making an role play.

教 学 过 程 Step 1 Lead-in(5mins) Teacher: Have you ever traveled Students: yes/No. Show some pictures about The Eiffel Tower, Lijiang, Neuschwanstein Castle, Tianshan. Teacher: If you have chance to travel to those place, where will you go Students: I will go to The Eiffel Tower/Lijiang/Neuschwanstein Castle/Tianshan. (Intention:Though some pictures to arouse students’ interest ,catch students’ attention,make them know the theme: travel and the preparation of travel. ) Step 2 Pre-listening Teacher: What do you need to prepare for if you go to The Eiffel Tower/ Lijiang/ Neuschwanstein Castle /Tianshan,Amy(Jason、Lily) Amy(Jason、Lily):I need to get a passport/ book tickets/cash..... Teacher :Anything else Post pictures about passport ,visa, tickets,guidebook and so on then show those phrases:get a passport/ apply for a visa/book tickets/book a hotel room/rent a car/buy a guidebook/pack some clothes/research the local weather Teacher: Maybe we need to rent a car,pack some clothes,book a hotel room and so on. Let’s read the phrases together. TIP:Do not try to catch every word in a conversation.instead, listen for key words and phrases. You should focus on getting the main idea, not on single words or grammar. (Intention:Show some key words ,make a prepare for the following task.Though the pictures to strengthen students’ memory. Meanwhile, give them a tip about listening skill.) Step 3 while listening(20mins) Task 1 Listen and choose. Listen to the first part of the conversation and choose the correct answers. 1).Circle the two places Meilin is going to for holiday. A. Germany B. England C. Iceland D. France 2). How is she going to get there A.By sea B. By air C. By train 3). How is she planning to get around after she arrives. A.By car B By train C. On foot Task 2 Listen and answer Listen to the second part of the conversation and answer the questions. (1) Where is Paul’s family going over the holiday Why are they going there Meilin Get her passport _______for her visa ______air tickets online ______ a car Paul _________a few light sweaters and a coat _________a guidebook (Intention:Though those three task to help students to comprehend the listening material ,students can improve their listening skills and speaking skills.) Step 4 Post-listening(15min) Discussion Show the pictures about Neuschwanstein Castle and Lijiang. Them ask students to choose a travel destination and think about what you should do to prepare to travel there. Them share your travel plans with a partner. Where : Neuschwanstein Castle, German Why famous: the model for the castle in Disneyland Best time to visit: September/October(autumn) Where: Jiuzhaigou,China Why famous: amazing waterfalls , colourful lakes,beautiful mountains. Best time to visit: April/May or September/October Role play After discussion, ask some partners to share their travel plans. Example: A:Hi,Julie!Do you have any plans for the holiday B:Hi,Wang Lei!Yes,I’m planning to travel to Jiuzhaigou. Actually, I’ve just finished the travel arrangements ! A:Oh,good idea!Jiuzhaigou is an extremely beautiful place. B:Yes, I’m looking forward to seeing the colourful lakes, amazing waterfalls… A:How are you getting ready for your trip B:I’m…… (Intention: Though these 2 activities, improve students’ oral English communication ability and cooperation ability.) Step 5 Summary Today, we learned that what we need to prepare for a trip and how to do listening questions. Step 6 Homework Make a role play with you partners after class. (Intention:Consolidate the knowledge had learned.)

教 学 反 思 在本节课中,学生基本都能跟随教师思路进行学习,同时也基本能够完成布置的任务,特别是角色扮演任务中,也有学生主动上台进行表演。但是也有不足之处:首先,学生口语水平低,因此在每次问题回答过程非常缓慢,且经常是习惯用中文回答,但经过引导也能慢慢尝试使用英语回答;其次,在需要学生积极回答的时候,学生主动性差,不愿意主动回答问题,因此需要教师多加鼓励,是他们建立自信心;最后在合作探讨阶段,学生不太愿意发生,与搭档的讨论较少,因此需要促进与搭档的关系,以便更好合作。
