教材分析: This video is about a new cuisine on Australian tables --insects.The video introduces this protein-rich,inexpensive and sustainable new dish from the perspectives of chefs,entomologists and customers.The video also shows different people's attitudes towards the new cuisine. 教学重点: 1.Guide Ss to get basic information about new cuisine; 2.Help Ss figure out the main factors in different preference for food and express their viewpoints on people's attitudes towards different preference. 教学难点: 1.Help Ss figure out the main factors in different preference for food. 2.Help Ss express their viewpoints on people's attitudes towards different preference for food.

Step 1:Lead in (5mins) 1.T presents a survey and asks students to complete the survey based on their own taste. 2.T asks Ss to look at the picture and introduction part to predict the content of yideo 1.Raise students'interest about the food that Australian people love by setting up a scene 2.By predicting the video students can capture the video information more accurately.
Step 2: Before watching 1.T explains the key words.Ss complete the sentences with the words from the box. This activity can develop Ss'ability of prediction And Ss can get the basic information about the new cuisine before watching the video.
