教学背景分析
教学内容分析： 本单元“People of Achievement(Describe someone you admire)”的主题语境是人与社会， 围绕中外“卓有成就的人”这一主题展开，带领学生多角度地思考、探索这些卓有成就的人 物，以及他们获得成就的原因和意义所在。引导学生反思自我，树立正确的人生观和价值观。 本课是语法板课，设计遵循“发现-—-归纳-—-练习-—-运用”的思路。教材先让学生观察所 给例句，识别限制和非限制性定语从句，比较和分析出两者在形式和意义上的区别。然后， 运用关系词将两个句子组合成一个非限定性定语从句。最后完成开放性任务，运用非限定性 定语从句完成对自己钦佩的人物的描写。 学生情况分析： 通过高一的限制性定语从句的学习，学生基本已经能够熟练使用该类型的定语从句。但 是，他们对于非限定性定语从句并不熟悉，因此本节课主要介绍非限定定语从句的形式、功 能和用法，以及限制性定语从句和非限制性定语从句的区别。
教学目标
1.观察、分析和理解非限制性定语从句的形式、意义和用法 ;2.对比、理解和归纳限制和非限制性定语从句的区别； 3.运用非限制性定语从句介绍卓越成就的人。
教学内容
教学重点： 1.通过对比和理解，归纳限制和非限制性定语从句的区别； 2.通过观察和分析，帮助学生理解并掌握非限制性定语从句的形式、意义和用法。 教学难点： 准确且熟练地使用非限制性定语从句介绍卓越成就的人。

Step 2 Compare and understand 1.T guides Ss to compare defining and non-defining sentences and try to discover the differences in terms of form and function. 2.Ss put proper relative pronouns to complete the two sentences and try to summarize their differences in the use of relative pronouns. 对比与分析、理解和归纳：利用视 频文本中出现的限制性和非限制性 定语从句，学生对比分析出两种从 句在形式、功能和个别关系词使用 上的区别。
Step 3 Discover and understand 1.T presents three non-defining relative clauses introduced by who,when and whose against the background of Dr. Zhong Nanshan’early life. 2.Ss make a summary of the usage of relative pronouns in non-defining relative clauses 3.T guides Ss to compare and summarize the similarities and differences between the use of relative pronouns as and which in non-defining relative sentences. 对比分析、理解总结：利用定语从 句对钟南山早年经历的描述，让学 生在阅读故事的过程中，发现不 同 非限制性定语从句关系词的使用特 点，归纳其使用特点。
Step 4 Practice 1.T asks Ss to combine 2 sentences using non-defining relative clause to feel the fluency and conciseness of the new sentences. 2.Ss translate the two Chinese sentences into English. 应用实践：通过句子合并练习，让 学生体会非限制性定语从句将较 多零散信息放在一个句子里面， 形式更加紧凑。通过翻译练习， 强化学生语言转化能力，更好地 内化非限制性定语从句的使用。
Step 5 Application Complete my letter to Figure magazine using non-defining relative clauses 内化运用：创设情境，让学生在真 实的写作中运用定语从句，进一 步体会该类从句的实际用途。
