1.obtain the basic information of Pingyao by listening to the materials. 2.know more about Pingyao and tourists'emotions by talking. 3.learn more about the history and traditions of Pingyao
教学内容
教学重点: 1.让学生了解平遥的各景点的具体信息。 2.谈论关于平遥旅行中人的感受。 教学难点: 1.通过景点的细节和情感分析,感受平遥的历史和传统。
教学过程
Step 1:Lead in (3-5mins) Do you know where it is Is there anyone who has been there How much do you know about Pingyao 设计意图:开头部分通过平遥的旅游图片导入,让学生直观地了解话题,从平遥的几个 景点图片入手,为后面的听力材料做铺垫。 Step 2:Pre-listening (3mins) Paul,a foreign backpacker is talking to a receptionist Xiao Yan.They have the conversation about Pingyao. 设计意图:听前先弄清楚人物关系和主题,对即将听到的素材有个心理预测。旨在训练 学生的听前预测能力。 Step 3:While-Listening(15-20mins) Task 1.Listen to the material for the first time and circle the places mentioned.设计意图:初听对文章的大意进行理解。任务也较为简单,就是圈出在听力文 本中出现
的地名就可以。教会学生在语境下关注既定单词的能力。 Task 2.Listen to Part 1 and answer the two questions. When Paul first arrived at Pingyao,how did he feel What is special about Rishengchang Bank 设计意图:对Paul的旅行路线进行精听,基于两个问题的任务性听力聚焦Paul的感受和 景点的细节。启发学生重点放在细节和情感两个方面。 Task 3.Listen again,please fillin the blanks and pay attention to Paul's feelings. Paul felt a bit disappointed ,and can you find some details to show his disappointment --I had expected something different ;it wasn't as bigas I had expected... Then Paul felt amazed.Can you find some words or sentences to show why he felt amazed 设计意图:精听关键信息,聚焦Paul的感受和景点的细节,让学生复述并写下空缺的句 子,训练学生快听快写的能力。 Task 4.Listen to Part 2 and answer the following three questions. What is the Ming-Qing street famous for How did Paul go to the Shuanglin Temple Did Paul go to the city wall Why or Why not Task 5.Listen again,please fill in the blanks and pay attention to their feelings. 设计意图:这个部分的设计和前面两个任务设计意图相似。 Step 4:After-listening(12-15mins) Summary: After listening to the whole conversation,let's sum up what we heard just now. 设计意图:在听完材料后进行重点的梳理,完成表格让学生明白从景点的细节和人物的 感受出发,为下面的talking 做铺垫。 Talking:It's a pity that Paul couldn't visit the city wall,but today,in our class,we can use our imagination to help Paul finish his trip.Now,if you were Paul,you could come back Pingyao and visit the city wall.Please work in pairs and role-play the conversations below. Given information:The ancient city wall of Pingyao is about 6km long,with 3,000 crenels(垛 口 )and 72 watching towers(敌楼),which,allegedly,signifies the 3,000 disciples of the master and 72 saints.Despite 600 years of wind and rain erosion,the wall still looks as grand and majestic. Show time:请学生上台呈现谈论平遥古城墙的对话。 Sample:Paul:Wow,I have just come back from Pingyao.It was amazing! Xiao Yan:Oh,that sounds great!So did you see the city wall this time Paul:Ofcourse,but I didn't expect to see so many tourists. Xiao Yan:Yeah,the city wall is very popular.So how did you feel about it
Paul:It's fantastic!Despite 600 years of wind and rain erosion,the wall still looks grand and majestic. 设计意图:Talking 部分的情景话题是衔接listening 部分的,Paul 有时间再次来到平遥去 古城墙参观,给出一些关于古城墙的信息介绍帮助学生谈论平遥古城墙。提醒学生谈论细节 和人物的情感,请学生呈现对话,之后再给出一个Sample,不仅帮助学生自评和互评,而且 帮助教师评价这堂课的目标是否达成。 Step 5:Homework(1 min) 1.Search more information about Pingyao's other tourist attractions — Qiao Family Courtyard,zhenguo Temple. 2.Talk about these attractions and feelings. 设计意图:Homework 部分是让学生找出平遥的其他景点的信息并谈论人物的feelings。
