Analysis of learning situation:
Students are senior two students,have been learning English for several years,have a certain English foundation.However,their reading comprehension and oral expression skills may still be weak and need to be further cultivated and improved.At the same time,students are often interested in topics such as technology and innovation,so this topic can arouse their interest and help them better understand the content of the article
Teaching strategy:
1.Stimulate students'interest in learning and enable them to better understand and remember new knowledge through examples and questions related to students'real life.

2.Adopt the form of individual,group and whole in the teaching process to let students actively participate and cultivate the sense of cooperation and team spirit.

1.Use slides or pictures of places of interest around the world on the blackboard to introduce the theme.

The interactive part of this lesson aims to let students understand Chinese culture,learn to show ideas and understanding in various forms, and develop students'expression skills.
Teaching Activities:
1.Learn the keywords and phrases in the text "The World sees China's beautiful Communication Ideas and Understanding".Teachers can organize students to play vocabulary card games and deepen their vocabulary memory and understanding through competitions.
2.Practice conversation training.Students are divided into small groups and have a conversation about cultural differences.Students can be given dialogue templates that allow them to develop discussions around topics.

3.Perform scenarios in different roles.Students are divided into groups and each group chooses a traditional Chinese festival or custom to perform and compares the content of the performance with celebrations in other countries around the world.
4.Set up an exhibition corner,students can freely choose their favorite way to show their understanding and ideas of Chinese culture,which can be pictures,PPT,videos,posters,etc.
End session (approx.5 minutes): Teaching content:
The end of the lesson aims to summarize the class content,stimulate students to think about the topic,and encourage them to continue to explore and understand Chinese culture.
Teaching Activities:
1.Students show their work,and other students can ask questions or express their opinions.

3.Question:Students share their new knowledge and feelings about Chinese culture in this lesson,for example:"What new knowledge do you have about Chinese culture ""What differences and similarities do you see between China and the rest of the world "
Through the introduction,students'interest is aroused,classroom interaction improves students'learning and expression ability,and the end of the class summarizes the class content and stimulates students' thinking,hoping to achieve the teaching goal and improve students' comprehensive ability.
Teaching reflection:
The teaching theme of this course is "Presenting ideas".I have chosen the teaching material of Unit 3,Volume 4 of the optional Compulsory Foreign Studies Edition (2019).

In the process of teaching,I found that students'understanding of cultural differences and presentation skills was not deep enough. Although they can answer the basic questions of the text,they still have some difficulties in understanding and applying what they have learned. In order to improve students'text understanding ability and speech skills, I plan to strengthen the following points in the next teaching:
First of all,I will introduce more examples and cases,so that students can understand and apply what they have learned through practical situations.For example,I can show students some videos of live speeches by Chinese speakers and guide them to analyze what body language the speakers use and explain the role of these body languages in expressing ideas.
Secondly,I will design some interactive activities so that students can practice their presentation skills and evaluate each other.For example, students can be organized to give simulated speeches,and then other students can give feedback and suggestions based on the knowledge learned in the class.Through such activities,students can not only exercise their own expression ability,but also learn the excellent expression ways of others,so as to continuously improve their speech

skills.
Finally,I will strengthen the explanation and interpretation of the cultural differences between China and the west.In addition to the content in the textbook,I will also introduce some relevant cultural knowledge,such as the etiquette of meetings in different countries,the preparation of speech occasions and so on.By comparing the cultural differences of different countries,students can better understand and
appreciate the importance of presentation skills in different cultural contexts.
To sum up,by strengthening the introduction of examples,interactive activities and cross-cultural comparison,I believe that students will better understand and apply what they have learned in the next teaching,and improve their presentation skills and cultural awareness.
