would like 与 want 意义相近,但比 want 语气更委婉、更正式。would like没有人称和数的变化。

是一种询问某人想要什么的礼貌用语,可以用于多种情况,包括询问餐点、礼物、服务等。其答语通常为“I would like/I’d like...”。

maybe与may be的辨析
maybe 副词,常位于句首作状语,意为“大概,也许,可能”,相当于 perhaps。 Maybe she is a doctor.

可数名词与不可数名词
1. 可数名词与不可数名词的区别
(1)定义
可数名词:能直接以数目进行计算的名词,如banana。
不可数名词:不能直接以数目进行计算的名词,如milk。
(2)特点
可数名词有复数形式,如:
a pen(一支钢笔)→two pens(两支钢笔)。
不可数名词一般没有复数形式。

(3)修饰词
可数名词:
①可直接用不定冠词a/an修饰,如an apple(一个苹果);
②可用具体的数词修饰,如three books(三本书);
③可用 few、a few、many、some、any、a lot of等修饰,如a few eggs(一些鸡蛋)。

(3)修饰词
不可数名词:
①不能直接用a/an来修饰;
②如果表示确切的数量,用“数词+单位名词+of+不可数名词”结构,其单复数变化体现在单位名词上,如
a cup of tea(一杯茶),two bowls of rice(两碗米饭), three glasses of juice(三杯果汁);
③可用 little、a little、much、some、any、a lot of等修饰,如some water(一些水)。

(4)谓语形式
可数名词:
①可数名词单数作主语时,谓语动词用单数形式;
②多个并列的可数名词单数或可数名词复数作主语时,谓语动词用复数形式。
The book is interesting. 这本书很有趣。
Lily and Lucy are twins. 莉莉和露西是双胞胎。
These apples are red. 这些苹果是红色的。

不可数名词:
①不可数名词作主语时,谓语动词常用单数形式;
②当不可数名词前的单位词是复数时,谓语动词常用复数形式。
The money is enough for me to buy some apples.
这钱足够我买一些苹果了。
Two pieces of bread are enough. 两片面包足够了。

(5)询问
可数名词:询问数量多少用how many。
—How many bananas do you have 你有多少个香蕉?
—Five. 五个。
不可数名词:询问量的多少用how much。
—How much milk do you want 你想要多少牛奶?
—One glass. 一杯。

2 可数名词复数形式的规则变化
(1)一般情况下,在单数形式后面加-s。
book — books apple — apples
cat — cats word — words
(2)以s、x、ch、sh结尾的名词,加-es。
bus — buses box — boxes peach — peaches
watch — watches dish — dishes
(3)以元音字母加y结尾的名词,直接在词尾加-s。
boy — boys monkey — monkeys

(4)以辅音字母加y结尾的名词,将y变i,然后加-es。

(5)以o结尾的,有的加-s(无生命的),有的加-es(有生命的)。

(6)以f、fe结尾的名词,去掉f或fe,加-ves。
