To test whether students master words and phrases which have learned before.Show some pictures on the PowerPoint Describe what the men were doing in the pictures. Let students improve their ability of summary and oral English.Step 2 Pre-reading Show the headline on the PowerPoint and let students prepare the main idea of the passage and the attitude of the writer Predict the topic and author's attitude according to the title and teacher's prompts. Cultivate students'ability to predict the topic of the article,and lay a certain foundation for students to do reading comprehension. especially the main ideaStep 3 Skimming. Show the questions on the PowerPoints and tell students how to skim,and let them find the main ideas of the passage and paragraphs within 3 minutes. Skimming.summarize the main idea of the article and the general idea of the paragraph,and complete the topic on the PPT based the skill the teacher told. Develop students'ability to skimming and summarize the main ideas of articles and paragraphs according to the main idea sentences.Step 4 Scanning Show the questions and mind map to the students.Let students discuss in groups and share their answers. Students read the details according to the keywords of the topic,determine the answers and complete the mind map in groups and show the answers according to the teacher's requirements. Let students identify the methods of skimming and scanning,so as to use them properly in the reading comprehension.六、作业设计(适应“双减”要求的分层作业)Finish activity 4 in the textbook on page 29.If studentshave opinions on advantages and disadvantages of the Internet, they can finish activity 5.七、教学反思The theme of this unit is Internet,which is close to students'life and easy to arouse students'interest.Therefore,in the teaching process,I try to guide students to learn actively,encourage students to develop their listening,speaking,reading and writing skills through self-study and group discussion,and help them develop their ability to explore knowledge and obtain information,as well as critical thinking and innovative spirit.There are the following problems in the class:1.In the process of independent research,students can find the topic of the article,but it takes more time than the scheduled time.Therefore, students may not have enough time to do the questions in their exams.42.From the practical effect,students are more enthusiastic about group discussion,so the tasks need to progress from easy to difficult. Most students can find the answers in the passage in the group discussion and complete the mind map according to the requirement of scanning. However,there are few students can understand the passage fully,and they can't complete the tasks accurately.3.Some students can't express their opinions freely in the class.
