教 学 过 程 Step 1: Lead in 建议：就暑假生活进行讨论，引入本课时话题“Back to school”For example: T: How was your summer vacation What did you do during your summer vacation Did you go anywhere for your vacation Where did you go Who did you go with What do you think of the place (Ask some students to answer it one by one.)Ss: ...Step 2: Presentation建议：教师展示多媒体课件，上面有各种各样的与本课时单词相关的图片，然后根据图片教授新单词。这种方法既直观又生动，能极大调动学生的积极性。 Step 3: Drill建议1: 游戏比赛，通过一闪而过的图片，让学生说出英语单词，看谁说得又快又准。建议2: 同桌间互相提问单词，一个说汉语，一个说英语, 然后教师抽查。Step 4: Free talk建议:让学生就新学期第一天进行讨论。两人一组，可以自由组合，同位讨论等多种形式进行讨论。Step 5: Listening and Answering建议: 听对话，回答问题。让同学们进行作答，然后与同伴进行答案的检查。1. One is Sandra and the other is Mary. 一个是桑德拉，另一个是玛丽。one…and the other…“一个……，另一个……”，用于两者之间。the other “另一个”，特指两者中的另外一个。表示三者或三者以上的“另一个”，用another。【例句】He has two pencils. One is red and the other is blue.他有两支铅笔。一支是红色的，另一支是蓝色的。I have a lot of toys, but I’m going to buy another one. 我有很多玩具，但我打算再买一个。2. I wanted to talk to Sandra, but I didn’t know how to begin. 我想和桑德拉聊聊，但是我不知道怎样开始。how to begin是“疑问词 + to do”结构，在句中作know的宾语，相当于宾语从句 how I could begin。 “疑问词 + to do”结构可在句中作主语、宾语、宾语补足语等。【例句】I don’t know what to say at the meeting.= I don’t know what I will say at the meeting. 我不知道在会议上说什么。Tell me when to hold the meeting.= Tell me when we are going to hold the meeting. 告诉我什么时候开会。3. Well, you can introduce yourself to her. 哦，你可以向她作自我介绍。introduce sb. to sb.把某人介绍给某人introduce oneself to sb. 向某人作自我介绍【例句】Tom, let me introduce my brother to you.汤姆，让我把我弟弟介绍给你。Hello! I’m your new friend. I’ll introduce myself to you all.大家好！我是你们的新朋友。我将向你们所有人作自我介绍。4. 辨析look for，find与 find out（1）look for寻找（有目的地找，强调“寻找”这一动作）（2）find找到，发现（找到具体的东西，强调“找”的结果）（3）find out查明，弄清楚（经过调查、询问等一番努力后查出真相，多指查明难的、抽象的东西）【例句】He is looking for his pen, but he can’t find it. Can you help him find out who took it away？他正在找他的钢笔，但是他没有找到。你能帮助他查明是谁拿走了它吗？Step 10: Summary建议：让学生自己总结本节课主要学习了什么，还有哪些疑惑？教师可作补充。For example: 本节课我们主要学习了如何用英语谈论开学第一天的有关事情，怎样介绍自己和他人也是我们这一节课的重点，也是整个单元的难点。我们会在以后的学习中继续学习和巩固。

教学反思 新学期开始,学生对英语的听说练习很少。本节课注重学生的听说训练,用英语表达新学期第一天看到的新事物,新开始新梦想,让学生们写出自己的开学愿望，从而上升到情感练习,想要实现自己的愿望就要通过自己的努力。本节课从多个角度、多种形式上对本课的语言知识进行练习，从而达到教学目的，实现教学目标。
