One is red and the other is blue.他有两支铅笔。一支是红色的,另一支是蓝色的。I have a lot of toys, but I’m going to buy another one. 我有很多玩具,但我打算再买一个。2. I wanted to talk to Sandra, but I didn’t know how to begin. 我想和桑德拉聊聊,但是我不知道怎样开始。how to begin是“疑问词 + to do”结构,在句中作know的宾语,相当于宾语从句 how I could begin。 “疑问词 + to do”结构可在句中作主语、宾语、宾语补足语等。【例句】I don’t know what to say at the meeting.= I don’t know what I will say at the meeting. 我不知道在会议上说什么。Tell me when to hold the meeting.= Tell me when we are going to hold the meeting. 告诉我什么时候开会。3. Well, you can introduce yourself to her. 哦,你可以向她作自我介绍。introduce sb. to sb.把某人介绍给某人introduce oneself to sb. 向某人作自我介绍【例句】Tom, let me introduce my brother to you.汤姆,让我把我弟弟介绍给你。Hello! I’ll introduce myself to you all.大家好!我是你们的新朋友。我将向你们所有人作自我介绍。4. 辨析look for,find与 find out(1)look for寻找(有目的地找,强调“寻找”这一动作)(2)find找到,发现(找到具体的东西,强调“找”的结果)(3)find out查明,弄清楚(经过调查、询问等一番努力后查出真相,多指查明难的、抽象的东西)【例句】He is looking for his pen, but he can’t find it.
