教学重点 掌握词汇，了解西方节日，注意现在完成时的使用。
教学难点 1. 现在完成时的使用。2. 学习介绍favourite subject。

教 学 过 程 Step 1: Lead in 建议：教师向学生们提问，引出相关内容：For example:T: What do you know about China Have you learned about other countries in school Which one is the most interesting What foreign holidays do you know about Ss: …Step 2: Presentation建议：教师播放课件，展示本课时单词，让学生们读单词并记忆。词汇呈现：课件图片展示新词汇，并搭配两个句子来掌握新单词。第一个是课文原句，第二个是所造新句，引导学生根据所学来理解新单词所在句子。Step 3: Drill建议1: 游戏比赛，通过一闪而过的图片，让学生说出英语单词，看谁说得又快又准。建议2: 同桌间互相提问单词，一个说汉语，一个说英语, 然后教师抽查。Step 4: Listening建议: 听录音，判断正误。1. Which one is the most interesting 哪一个是最有趣的 the most interesting 是 interesting的最高级。在表示三者或者三者以上之间的比较时用最高级。形容词比较级、最高级的变化规则：a. 一般情况下比较级直接加-er，最高级直接加-est，如：long---longer---longestb. 以不发音字母e结尾的，直接加-r,-st，如：late--later--latestc. 双写最后一个辅音字母，再加-er,-est，如：big--bigger--biggestd. 三个或三个以上音节的形容词，加more变比较级，加most最高级。如：delicious--more delicious--most deliciouse. 不规则形容词的比较级和最高级。如：good--better--best; bad--worse--worst.【例句】Which do you like best, apples, grapes or bananas 苹果、葡萄和香蕉，你最喜欢哪一个 2. show v. 展示常接双宾语，即show sb. sth.=show sth. to sb.，意为”给某人展示某物”。【例句】Li Ming shows me his new jeans. 李明给我展示他的新牛仔裤。3. I think so. 我认为是这样的。对别人的想法、观点表示赞同时，常用“I think so”。其中，so为代词，代替上文中提到的内容，以避免重复，意为“这样，如此”。【例句】She thinks it is a good book and I think so, too.她认为这是一本好书，我也这样认为。4. ago adv. 以前常用于一般现在时。ago时间段+ago，常与一般过去时连用，不可以单独使用before可单独使用，常与现在完成时连用【例句】I met him two days ago. 两天前我遇到他。I have seen the movie before. 我以前看过这部电影。Step 8: Free talk建议：PPT 出示英语短文题目。学生组内交流想法，展示。Step 9: Summary建议：让学生自己总结本节课主要学习了什么，还有哪些疑惑？教师可作补充。For example: 本节课我们继续学习了现在完成时，还学习了介绍favourite subject，这是本节课的难点，在以后的学习生活中我们也会继续巩固。

教学反思 这是单元的第五个课时。因此，继续巩固前面学习的句型并结合新学内容进行整合是非常重要的。教学目标，教学模式及方法的选择合理,注重听说读写多方面的培养；对教学资源进行了合理的补充；通过文本的处理和练习，使学生对西方节日有了更深的了解；学生课堂参与度高，交流热烈，发言积极；任务型的阅读的设计，不仅使学生充分的了解文本，而且强化了题型的练习；最后Free Talk的完成略显仓促，尤其是对于学困生来讲。在班容量大的环境下，优化课堂时间分配就显得更为重要。
