Both Li Ming and Wang Mei are drawing a map of a perfect neighbourhood. 李明和王梅都在画理想的社区的地图。both… and…表示“两个都,……和……都”,连接两个并列部分,连接两个并列主语时,谓语动词常用复数形式。【例句】He spoke both French and English.他既会说法语又会说英语。Both his brother and his sister are married.他的哥哥和姐姐两人都结婚了。【拓展】either… or… 或者……或者……neither… nor… 既不……也不……not only… but also… 不但……而且……上述三个短语在连接两个主语时,谓语动词应与离它最近的主语在人称和数上保持一致(就近原则)。【例句】Either you or I am going there tomorrow. 明天要么你去那里,要么我去。Neither you nor she is good at drawing. 你和她都不擅长绘画。Not only I but also Tom and Mary are fond of watching TV.不只我,汤姆和玛丽也都喜欢看电视。2. I need a big park so I can play basketball!我需要一个大公园,这样我就能打篮球了!so conj. 以便;因此;所以引出一个表示目的或结果的句子,because和so不能同时出现,though和but也是如此。【例句】I’m very thirsty, so I want to drink some water. 我口很渴,所以我想要喝一些水。3.
