The black dog is lovely ,but the white dog is even ________ (lovely).Answers: 1.taller 2.biggest 3.warmer 4.better 5.lovelierStep 3: Grammar一、情态动词1. 情态动词表示说话人的观点和态度,如需要、猜测、意愿或怀疑等。常见的情态动词有:can,could, may, might, must, need, shall, should, will, would 等。情态动词的语法特征:(1)有实意,但在句中不能单独充当谓语。(2)后跟动词原形。表示否定时,在其后面加not;表示疑问时,将它提到句首。(3)无人称和数的变化。2. 英语中的形容词有原级、比较级和最高级三种形式。表示“比……更……一些”的概念时,用比较级;表示“最……”的概念时,用最高级。二、辨析may和mightmay (might)主要表示说话人许可、请求对方许可,或表示可能性。否定式为may/might not。might 是may 的过去式,主要有下列用法:表示语气更加委婉、客气:【例句】Might I have your e-mail address 可以给我你的电子邮件地址吗 He said he might come back in two weeks. 他说他可能两周后回来。三、辨析will和wouldwill和would用于第二人称疑问句,表示请求和建议,would比will委婉、客气。固定句型:Will/ Would you please… 请你……好吗?【例句】Would you please pass this book to the student in the last row 请你把这本书递给最后一排的学生好吗 Certainly./Sure./ All right.当然可以。/当然。/好的。I’m sorry. I can’t./ No, I won’t.我很抱歉。我不能。/不,我不会。四、形容词的比较级和最高级1. 形容词比较级的用法:表示两者之间的比较,常用句型有:(1)“A+be+形容词比较级+than+B”,表示“A比B……”。如:【例句】Our teacher is taller than us. 我们的老师比我们高。 (2)“比较级+and+比较级”或“more and more+部分双音节或多音节形容词”结构表示事物特征的递进,意为“越来越……”。【例句】When spring comes, the weather gets warmer and warmer.当春天到来时,天气变得越来越暖和。Our city is becoming more and more beautiful. 我们的城市正变得越来越美丽。(3)“the+比较级,the+比较级”表示“越……,越……”。如:【例句】The healthier you are, the happier you will be. 你越健康,就会越幸福。2. 形容词最高级的用法:用于三者或三者以上的比较,表示在某一范围内或某类人或物中“最……”。常用句型有:(1)“A+be+the+形容词最高级+in/of短语”,表示“在……中,A最……”。【例句】Jenny is the most beautiful of all. 珍妮是所有人中最漂亮的。(2)“A+be+one of the+形容词最高级+复数名词+in/of短语”,表示“在……中,A是最……的……之一”。【例句】The Yangtze River is one of the longest rivers in the world. 长江是世界上最长的河流之一。3.常见形容词比较级和最高级的不规则变化:原级比较级最高级good/wellbetterbestbadworseworstmany/muchmoremostlittlelessleastfarfarther/furtherfarthest/furthestStep 4: Self-Evaluation建议:让学生依据自己掌握的内容进行自我评价。Step 5: Summary建议:让学生自己总结本节课主要学习了什么,还有哪些疑惑?教师可作补充。For example: 本节课我们复习了情态动词would与might的用法,还有形容词的比较级和最高级,这是本单元的重点,也是中考的重点,我们会在以后的学习中加以巩固。

1. 情态动词may (might), will (would)用作谓语动词之前,无人称和数的变化,后接动词原形,2. 形容词副词的比较级和最高级规则变化:(1)单音节形容词+-er / -est(2)以 -e 结尾的单音节+-r/ -st(3)以 -y 结尾, 去y+ -ier/-iest (4)辅元辅,双写该辅音字母+-er/ -est(5)双音节和多音节形容词more /most +形/副
教学反思 这是单元的复习课。因此,复习本单元的所学内容是本节课的重点内容。首先,老师引领学生回顾本单元的重点词汇,为接下来的习题做好铺垫。然后复习语法知识,再做对应的语法训练题目,检查学生对语法知识的掌握情况。最后学生进行自我评价,从而达到教学目的,实现教学目标。
