教学重点 能运用I hope to be a/ an...I would...来表达自己的理想和愿望。
教学难点 情态动词might和would的用法。

教 学 过 程 Step 1: Lead-in建议:教师提出问题让学生思考并讨论,引入本课主题。For example: T: What are you interested in What are you good at What would you like to be in the future Ss: ...Step 2: Presentation建议:展示一些关于不同工作的图片,教授本课时词汇。For example:【设计意图】用图片新授单词,让学生可以对形象生动的画面产生深刻的印象,激发学习兴趣,调动多种感观参与学习活动,更好地理解单词意思以及在语境中的用法。Step 3: Listening and answering建议:播放录音,回答问题。1. What are Li Ming and Wang Mei talking about 2. What is Li Ming good at 3. What does Li Ming hope to do Why 4. What does Wang Mei hope to be in the future Why Answers: 1. They are talking about the future.2. He is good at talking to people.3. He hopes to be a teacher. Because he is good at talking to people.4. She wants to be a doctor. Because she studies very hard and she is not sure she can be a scientist.Step 4: Reading建议:让学生阅读课文,然后填空。Li Ming and Wang Mei are talking about the future. What would you like to be in the future 你将来想做什么 (1)would是will的过去式,表示请求、劝说,是很客气的说法。
【例句】Would you like a cup of tea? 您愿意喝杯茶吗?
(2)“主语+would like to…”表示“想要……”,与“want to…”意思一样,但用would like较客气。【例句】I would like to ask you a question.=I want to ask you a question. 我想问你一个问题。(3)最基本的虚拟语气 ( http: / / zhidao. / search word=%E8%99%9A%E6%8B%9F%E8%AF%AD%E6%B0%94&fr=qb_search_exp&ie=utf8" \t "_blank )句型: 主句用would/ should/ could/ might +动词原形 ( http: / / zhidao. / search word=%E5%8A%A8%E8%AF%8D%E5%8E%9F%E5%BD%A2&fr=qb_search_exp&ie=utf8" \t "_blank )。【例句】They would never have met if she hadn’t gone to Emma’s party.她如果不去参加埃玛的聚会,他们就永远不会相会。2. It’s hard sometimes to talk about the future. 有时谈论未来是很困难的。It’s + adj. + to do sth. 做某事是……的。【例句】It’s interesting to play games with children.和孩子们做游戏是很有趣的。3. You’re good at talking to people. 你很善于与人交谈。辨析talk to、talk with与talk abouttalk to 和talk with 都表示“和……谈话”, talk to侧重于一方说,另一方听;talk with侧重双方交谈。【例句】Our head teacher is talking to my parents.我们的班主任正在和我的父母谈话。Look, she is talking with her good friend.看,她正在和她的好朋友谈话。talk about /of谈论某人或某事【例句】Many students are talking about their new English teacher. 许多学生在谈论他们的新英语老师。4. I would be nice to my students. 我会对我的学生很亲切。good与nice都有“好”的意思。(1)good是通用词,可以表示各种品质方面的优异,从美学到道德规范几乎都可以使用。【例句】Your dictionary is good, but mine is even better. 你的词典好,而我的更好。(2)nice表示使人感到“愉快的”,“好的”。【例句】She is a very nice girl. 她是个很好的姑娘。5. You might be a scientist when you grow up. 你长大后可能会成为一名科学家。辨析might与maybe二者都表示“可能;或许”,但词性不同。might是情态动词,后接动词原形,在句子中作谓语;maybe是副词,常放在句子开头。【例句】Maybe he is right. 或许他是对的。My book might/may be in my desk. 我的书或许在书桌里。Step 8: Summary让学生自己总结本节课主要学习了什么,还有哪些疑惑?教师可作补充。For example: 本节课我们主要学习了如何表述自己的理想及未来想要从事的职业,还学习了情态动词might和would的用法,这是我们这一节课的重点和难点,我们会在以后的学习中继续学习和巩固。
课堂作业 1.口头作业: 朗读课文。2.书面作业: 写一篇关于你同学对未来的希望的短文。
