They are very bad for our environment. 它们对我们的环境非常有害。be bad for意为“对……有害”,介词for后加名词或代词作宾语。它的反义短语是be good for,意为“对……有益”。【例句】Is this kind of weather good or bad for crops 这种天气对庄稼有益还是有害呢 5. That way, our air would be a lot cleaner.那样的话,我们的空气会干净得多。a lot修饰比较级,表示“……得多”。句中的a lot用来修饰形容词的比较级cleaner,加强程度。在英语中,可以修饰形容词或副词比级的词(组)还有much,even,far,a little,a bit等。【例句】The park is a lot more beautiful than before.公园比以前漂亮多了。He is a bit taller than I.他比我高一点。6.
