教 学 过 程 Step 1 Warming upGet the class to describe how to do the experiment according to the pictures. Step 2 Presentation Teach the new words suggest and expressions turn...over, in place, push up, push down with the pictures by talking about the experiment.Teacher says: When we do the experiment, we should turn the jar upside down.That is, we should turn the jar over. After we take our hands off, the water in the jar can’t pour out. Why Because the air pressure pushing up on the cardboard is higher than that of the water pushing down from inside the jar. The higher air pressure outside the jar holds the cardboard in place. The experiment is very interesting. I suggest you try it, too.
