Big Question:Why do we learn different subjects 该主题属于“人与自我”范畴下的“生活与学习”主题群,涉及子主题内容为“积极的学习体验、恰当的学习方法和策略”。本单元由3篇对话,1篇记叙文,1篇应用文,3种不同类型的语篇组成。第1篇对话讲述了Ella向福星抱怨自己不开心:Ella不喜欢星期二,因为星期二早上有历及课;第2篇对话是高老师和Peter的对话,高老师询问了Peter当天的课程以及喜欢与不喜欢的课程及原因;第3篇语篇是彬彬、艾玛和梅梅之间的对话。记叙文介绍了作者最喜欢星期四的下午,因为作者喜欢生物课。应用文主要介绍了留言板上的2条关于迈克和吴彬彬最喜欢的学科的留言。本单元的核心语言主要围绕学科、课程内容、感受、职业展开。涉及学科的介绍(IT,geography, history, biology, French),课程内容(past, good with, number, listen to, remember, instrument, work out, problem, in class, magic), 感受(useful, exciting, excellent),职业 (scientist, singer)等。本单元让学生明白每个人都有自己喜欢的学科,每个学科都有它的价值和重要性。学生应该尊重和珍惜自己的学科选择,同时也要尊重他人的学科选择。不管是对自己喜欢的学科还是对其他学科,学生都应该保持积极的学习态度,发现学科的魅力和乐趣。
学情分析
学生已具备的知识和能力:1.学生在小学阶段已经学习过有关学科类的语言,描述喜爱反理由,拒绝的理由,以及描述星期,连词的使用等,对本元涉及的英语语言有基本的了解。2.本单元中学生比较熟悉的表达方式有I like Chinese because it's fun. / History is my favorite subject, but my sister doesn't like it.学生可能存在的困难与问题:1.元音字母组合oa/ay/i/oy/oi/ow/ou/ear/air/ ure/our/oor的发音2.连词and/but/or联结2个同子3.陈述喜爱的学科及理由4.了解双元音的发音及对应的字母或字母组合。
