知识点一 情态动词can在一般过去时中的变化
【知识精讲】
情态动词can的过去式为could，没有人称和数的变化，后面加动词原形。
肯定句：
我会写了。I could write.
→否定句
I couldn’t write.
couldn’t= could not
【经典例题】
My little sister _____________three years ago.
A. couldn’t wrote B. couldn’t write C. can’t write
【名师解析】
根据three years ago 可知，句子为一般过去时，所以用can的过去式could，could没有人称和数的变化，后面加动词原形，couldn’t= could no，所以选B。
知识点二 wrote
【知识精讲】
write的过去式为wrote。
肯定句：He wrote letters yesterday.
否定句：He didn’t write letters yesterday.
【经典例题】
They ______ (write) something on the card this morning.
【名师解析】
根据this morning可知，句子为一般过去时，所以write用过去式，write的过去式为wrote，所以填wrote。
知识点三 bought
【知识精讲】
buy的过去式为bought
buy sth. for sb. =buy sb. sth. 给某人买东西
buy的对应词为sell。
【经典例题】
I________ (buy) some flowers for my grandma yesterday afternoon.
【名师解析】
根据yesterday afternoon可知，句子用一般过去时，buy的过去式为bought。
