在西方国家，不能随便使用 “How old are you ” 问长辈或者女士的年龄。西方有句俗语：女子的年龄，是一个秘密(It’s a secret!)。随便询问女士的年龄是不礼貌的， 这被认为是一种很粗鲁的行为。如确实需要询问对方个人问题，也要问“我可以问你吗？”由对方决定是否告诉你。
