Welcome to the English class! 2.Activity 1: Let’s sing Enjoy a song: What are you doing 3.Activity 2: Look and say Show the picture of Jenny, Danny and Li Ming, then review the people on the train: What are they doing (设计意图:通过歌曲引起学生兴趣,利用图片复习学生们已经接触过的现在进行时态,初步感知本课知识点,为课文内容做好铺垫,同时很好地导入文本。) Step 2 Presentation 1.Activity 3:Listen and choose Look the picture of Jenny and guess: What happens (发生了什么?) Then listen to the tape and choose the right answer. T: Look at Jenny! What happens Can you guess T: Now, let’s listen to the tape and choose the right answer! 2.Activity 4: Watch and answer Watch the vedio of the text and find the answer of the question: What is Danny doing now T: Jenny can’t find Danny. So what is Danny doing now Let’s watch the vedio. S: Danny is playing with the baby. T: Yes. How do you know that What does Danny say to Jenny 3.Activity 5: Read and answer Read the text and answer the questions:What is the baby’s mother doing S: She is reading the newspaper. T: Read the newspaper. Please read after me: newspaer, newspaper. T: What’s this in front of “newspaper” (学习了解重音)Let’s read after the vedio and try to feel it. Read the text again and answer: Who is playing T: Look! Who is playing S: The man behind Li Ming is playing. T: What is he playing S: He is playing cards with his friends. T: How do they feel S: They are happy. T: Are they having fun S: Yes, they are having fun. T: Let’s read after the tape. 4.Activity 6: Let’s retell Show the pictures of the text and let students try to retell the text. T: Now, let’s try to retell the dialogue by these pictures. (设计意图:学生在看、听、读等活动中不断感知并梳理获取文本信息,学习理解人物对话内容,并能做到复述,内化语篇。) 5.Activity 7: Let’s find Show the sentences of the Present Continuous Tense. T: What do you find in these sentences S: 都有be动词,动词后面有ing。 T: What are these sentences S: 现在进行时态。 T: What’s the stucture of these sentences S:主语+ be动词+ 动词ing+其他 Let’s do an exercise for it : play the turntable and say. (设计意图:学生在教师的引导下再次归纳现在进行时的语法结构、定义和用法,在练习中不断巩固,帮助学生学会灵活运用。) Step 3 Practice 1.Activity 8: Let’s imitate Listen to the tape and try to read the text. Then imitate the characters by yourself. T: This is interesting in this text. T:Let’s listen and imitate as Jenny, Li Ming and Danny correctly, fluently and emotionally. 2.Activity 9: Let’s say Show the two pictures of the text : “read the nespaper” and “play cards” , then students can think that: What do you think of these behaviors(行为) on the train T: Look at these two pictures. Boys and girls, what do you think of these behaviors on the train 3.Activity 10: Let’s talk Show two pictures of the carriages and try to use the key sentences to decribe it: A:What is /are ... doing B: ... is/are ...ing... T: Now, there are some people on the train.So what are they doing T: Let’s think again: Which one do you like Why T: Can we do these things in our daily life We can’t. Please don’t do these bad behaviors. We should be a civilized student. (设计意图:学生通过模仿人物对话,内化语言,同时体会文本情境,以此做出判断来评价文本中火车上人物的行为,又通过拓展情境练习对话,体会不同车厢的感受,培养学生公共场所的文明意识,深化主题意义。) Step 4 Production 1.Activity 12: Let’s discuss Choose one scene , talk with your friends and try to discribe it. Students need to use the key sentences to make a new dialogue. T: In our daily life, there are many public places. So please choose a place, try to make a new dialogue with your partner. (设计意图:深入运用语言知识,创造新的语境,帮助学生将所学知识迁移到现实生活中,合理交际。) Step 5 Homework 1. Listen and read the text(P10). (听音跟读第11页的课文内容。) 2. Finish Part 2(P11) and make a new turntable, spin and write more sentences.(完成书中第11页第2部分练习,并仿照制作一个新转盘,创造更多的句子。) 3. Make a new dialogue for the place, draw pictures for it and write it down.
