教学目标
1. 学生能听懂、会说并认读单词: photo, was, were, happy。 2. 加深对一般过去时的理解，感知含有Be动词的句子在过去时态表达中的用法，尝试在情境中灵活运用。 3. 能感受到祖国大好河山的美，用happy等词来并表达自己的喜悦之情。
教学重难点
教学重点： 1. 感知be动词的过去式，巩固和扩充学生动词过去式的词汇，学会使用过去时态。
2. 用一般过去时描述过去发生的事情。
教学难点： 1. 正确使用一般过去时，并有意识地运用过去时态描述照片。
2. 掌握一般过去时的句子结构。
教学过程
Greeting & Warming up Introduce a new friend Ella. Let’s have an English lesson together. An English song: Free talk with Danny T: Do you have a nice trip Danny: Yes, I did. I had a great trip in China. T: Where did you go Presentation Danny: There are some photos, I have a photo album.(New word: photo) Look and say T: Where were they Ella: They were on the Great Wall. (New word: were) T: How did they feel (pay attention to their facial expression) Ella: They were very happy. Teacher talks something about the Great Wall. Watch and answer: Where were they in the photos What happened T: Where were they Ella: They were on the train to Beijing. T: What happened Ella: They played with the baby. It was fun.(New word: was) T: Where was Danny Ella: Danny was at the Palace Museum. T: What happened He hurt his tail. He was sad.(safety first) Listen and write Listen to the tape and fill in the blanks. Let’s chant! Practice the past forms of the words with students. Let’s find the differences The differences between the present tense and the past tense.(time words) Listen and follow Students follow to read the content, imitate the pronunciation and intonation. Tell Danny’s story. Practice Look at Danny’s trip photo album. Where else did they go Look at the photos, Students and teacher talk about what happened Practice the new words in the sentences with the photos. Production Danny: We had fun in Beijing, I will have a trip in China next holiday. Can you give me some advice T introduces her trip in Tibet and then share a student Amy’s trip in Dali. T: China is a beautiful country. There are many beautiful cities in China. Welcome to China!
