教学目标
After this lesson, students should be able to: 1. Get the key information of this dialogue by listening and reading the dialogue and reading the picture. (思维品质). 2.Introduce the animals in the zoo by the words and sentence patters in this section---funny, mouse,small,strong,look at this..,It’s... (语言能力). 3.Love animals and observe their characteristics. (文化意识). 4. Summarize the learning methods by cooperating with their group members (学习能力).

教学重点： 1. Under the key information of this dialogue. 2. Express what they can see in real communications. 教学难点： 1. Lead students to learn to love animals and observe their characteristics .
教学过程
Lead in 【学习理解】 1. Greet with students. 2. Sing a song and ask students the questions below. What’s the song about Where are the animals What animals can you see in the zoo What animals do you like in the zoo 3.Create a situation. We can see different animals in the zoo and we can have a great fun there. Boys and girls, would like to go to the zoo with me But you should follow some rules: No touching, no eating and no shouting. Let’s go! 【设计意图：歌曲导入，同时通过情境的设计帮助学生更快做好对本堂课程的准备，同时也能让学生在语境中学习英语,帮助学生建设真实情境，激发学生的背景知识。融入德育教育，增强学生的规则意识。】 Presentation 【学习理解】 1.Look, listen and learn the key words and sentences. Look at this/this . It’s . It’s . tiger strong a strong tiger bird beautiful a beautiful bird monkey funny a funny monkey elephant big a big elephant mouse small a small mouse 2.Compare big animals and small animals. 3.Look at the picture and find the main characters. Who are they 4.Play the recording and ask students the questions below. What animals do they see What are the animals like 5. Play the recording again and fill in the blanks. 【设计意图：通过多遍听对话内容，提问对话相关问题，获取出语篇中出现的相关内容，帮助学生认识语篇，理解语篇，活用语篇。同时补充大型动物与小型动物相关知识，拓宽学生知识面】 Practicing【应用实践】 1.Listen imitate the dialogue 2.Act out the dialogue. 【通过跟读录音并模仿语音语调，在音频和PPT等多媒体教具的辅助下，帮助学生理解本单元的对话主题，强化本单元词句的学习，内化知识，在语境中进一步进行实践。】 Speaking【迁移创新】 1. Ask students to be a little guiders and talk with their group members to tell what they see in the pictures. 2. Invite students to make a dialogue. 【设计意图：在合作学习的模式下，学生将知识进行应用，基于图片编写新对话，帮助学生完成最终产出，实现知识的真正内化。】 Conclusion 1. Lead students to review the words in this section. 2. Summarize the sentence patterns. 3. Lead students to understand animals are our friends Animals are big, animals are small. Animals are special unique and colorful. Animals are very kind and wonderful. Animals are our friends forever. We should love them Don’t hurt them. Homework 基础类：Read Part A and B in page 9 and 10. 2. 提升类：Finish the exercise. 3. 拓展类：Find some other animals and observe their characteristics.
