Students watch the video and guess what they are going to read about. 学生观看视频,在教师的启发下预测阅读内容的主题。 Think and talk Encourage students to think and talk about whether animals can be our friends or not. 借助图片的帮助启发学生思考动物是否能成为人类的朋友。 T: Can animals be our friends [设计意图]: 导入主题,利用视频激发学生参与学习活动的兴趣和求知欲,激活学生关于动物和朋友的词汇。通过问题引发学生思考,预测阅读主题,培养学生利用线索进行推断预测的能力,同时促使学生对阅读内容产生兴趣,为积极阅读做好准备。 Step 2: While-reading Watch and say Students watch the video about the story and find out the animal friends. 学生观看视频,验证预测并初步感知课文内容找出文中人物的动物朋友。 [设计意图]: 教师对课文视频进行二次创作,遮挡住较明显的动物特征,激发学生的好奇心。鼓励学生通过看视频、听英语、阅读英语的学习方式整体理解故事大意。 Read and say Students read the story silently and find out the aspects mentioned about the animals. 学生默读课文,找出课文内容描写动物的各个方面,在教师的帮助下总结归纳,以此构建谈论动物的思维导图。 [设计意图]: 本阶段学习活动引导学生通过自读课文、提取信息,在教师的帮助下归纳出课文从身体部位、颜色和能力三方面谈论了动物。在帮助学生整体感知课文的同时培养学生准确获取、梳理和归纳关键信息的能力。 Read and learn Students listen and read the first paragraph of the text. Teacher asks questions about the fish from different aspects. T: What colour are the fish Then what body parts do they have How about their abilities What can they do 细读课文,通过提问引导学生运用本课关键句型,结合思维导图从不同方面谈论鱼。同时也是为学生接下来的自主阅读提供范例与方法。 Students read about the dog, the rabbit and the parrot. Finish the mind map about these animals. 学生依照第一段的学习方法,完成其余三段话的思维导图,并按照导图说一说这种动物。 Report and check Students report Mike’s, Liu Tao’s and Su Hai’s animal friends. Teacher helps to provides more information about the animals. 学生运用思维导图汇报,教师核对答案的同时利用多模态和游戏的形式向学生提供更多与狗、兔子和鹦鹉相关的信息。 Watch a video about dog’s fun facts. Students talk about dogs from more aspects beside those in the text. 通过看视频进一步了解狗再激发学生从更多的方面说一说狗的特点。 Play a game “Is that true ” Students think and judge the special information about rabbits. 通过游戏“这是真的吗”介绍与兔子相关的冷知识。 Teacher encourages students to say something special about parrots first, then show them the fun facts about parrots. 鼓励学生说一说鹦鹉的特别之处再以图文结合的形式向学生展示鹦鹉特征和习性。 [设计意图]: 本阶段学习活动中学生借助思维导图汇报课文中的动物朋友狗、兔子和鹦鹉。学生通过思维导图的构建,学习和模仿上一环节中的表达形式,梳理、学习并内化关键句型和词汇,再构文本。对动物信息的拓展能够开阔学生的视野,帮助学生从不同角度了解动物、尊重动物。为了进一步在情境中运用所学更全面地介绍动物做好准备。 4.Read in roles Students read the text aloud and act Nancy, Mike, Liu Tao and Su Hai. 学生有感情再读课文,选择一个人物以他们的口吻介绍动物朋友。 [设计意图]: 通过分角色有感情朗读课文让学生进一步理解语篇,能够准确使用介绍动物的词汇和句型,体会文中人物和动物之间的感情。教师能够把握学生对重点语言表达的学习情况,为学生语言输出奠定基础。 Step 3: Post-reading Talk and share Students talk about their own animal friends by using the mind map. 学生根据思维导图谈一谈自己的动物朋友。 [设计意图]: 通过分享活动引导学生进行超越语篇、联系实际情况的活动。用所学语言根据新情境整合运用、合理迁移相关语言表达完成交际任务。做到学以致用,培养学生在真实情境中运用语言和文化以及科学知识解决实际问题的能力,推动迁移和创新。 Think and say Teacher stimulates students to think. 教师激发学生思考我们为什么和动物交朋友。 T: Why do we make friends with these animals T: Because they accompany us and share their feelings with us. 教师通过提问,启发学生发现人与动物互相关爱、互相陪伴的情感。 Everyday English Students complete the poem about animals and read to understand the relationship between humans and animals better. 学生完成关于动物的诗歌,进一步回顾本课,理解人与动物的关系。 [设计意图]: 通过激发学生思考课文中人与动物之间的关系,深入理解语篇表层结构之下的意义。启发学生深度思考,探究深层意义,在教师的帮助下提炼和概括主题意义。 Step 4: Homework Read the story again and finish Think and write on Page 28. 与你的好朋友谈论你的动物朋友。 Read more stories about animal friends and talk about one of them with your friends. 阅读更多关于动物朋友的故事,并分享其中一个动物朋友。 Make a bookmark about the story you like. 为你喜欢的动物朋友故事制作一个书签。 展开更多...... 收起↑ 资源预览
