教学重难点
教学重点: 1. Know the rules of linking words and how to link words together. 学生知道连读规则和如何连读。 2. Use the key sentences to talk about dreams. 学生能用本单元目标句型谈论梦想。 教学难点: Use the key sentences to talk about dreams fluently and write down correctly. 学生能用本单元目标句型较流利地谈论梦想并正确书写。
教学过程
Step1 Warm-up 1. Greeting and show the title. 2. Tell the students about the learning objectives of this lesson. Step2 Revision 1. Word linking (1) Reading game
(2) Review the rules of word linking. (3) Find out “word linking”, mark it and read the passage well. 【设计意图】用游戏的方式引出连读,既能让学生练习连读,又能增加趣味性,为下面总结连读规则作准备。接着,总结和复习“辅元”“辅辅”“元元”“变音”连读规则,让学生对连读有更清楚的认识和理解。找出文中的“连读”做好标记并朗读,既能考查学生是否掌握连读方法,又为引出后续活动作铺垫。 2. Ask and answer (1) Answer the questions about the girl’s dream. Q1: What does she want to be in the future Q2: Why does she want to be a scientist (2) Watch the cartoon and fill in the form. Q1: What does … want to be in the future Q2: Why does she want to be … Q3: To make her dream come true, what will she do (3) Check the answers. Then ask and answer the questions. 【设计意图】通过补充的课外视频,学生讨论三个女孩的梦想及努力方式,既能增加阅读量,又操练了本单元目标句型,为后面描述他人的梦想,作语言铺垫。 Step3 Practice 1. Checkout time——Listen and choose(P86) (1) Preview. (2) Listen to the tape. (3) Check the answers. 2. Choose one child to talk about his/her dream. 【设计意图】先完成书上Checkout time的听力练习,再补白练习中没有提到的人物为达成梦想,将要做的努力。利用练习中的人物,想象他们的努力过程,巩固复习本单元目标句型,为后面的写作,丰富语言内容。 3. Think and complete “Jason’s dream” 4. Checkout time——Think and write “My dream”(P87) 【设计意图】用看图填空的方式,进行语篇输入,锻炼学生观察、思考、语言运用等能力,为写My dream作铺垫,丰富他们的语言。经过上述大量的语言输入和运用,学生书写自己的梦想,也就水到渠成了。 Step4 Summary Introduce three famous people. Talk about their dreams. 【设计意图】通过介绍袁隆平、周恩来和马丁·路德·金为梦想努力的故事,引导学生树立“大胆梦想、努力实现”的理想信念。
