教学目标
By the end of this lesson, students are able to: 1. Distinguish countable and uncountable nouns of food, and use “a lot of, some, a few, a little” to describe the quantity correctly. 区分可数和不可数食物,并用量词准确地描述出食物数量。 2. Get to know more about different food groups and healthy food pyramid. 理解不同种类的食物,并学习关于健康饮食金字塔的知识。 3. Collect information on their classmates’ diet and give suggestions accordingly. 与同学们谈论各自的饮食习惯,并参考健康饮食金字塔给出合理的建议。 4. Design a healthy lunch for their spring outing and form a better understanding on healthy eating. 为春游设计一份健康午餐,在此过程中加深对健康饮食的认识。

教学过程
Step 1 Warm-up and lead-in 1. Greetings and learning objectives Teacher greets students and introduces the learning objectives to them. 2. Let’s chant T and Ss first use the chant to review Story time and then talk about their own diet. 3. Let’s plan T introduces the final production of the lesson: design a healthy lunch for your spring outing, and also shows the three steps for the final aim. Step 2 Presentation and practice 1. Get to know food T shows the names of the four food groups and leads Ss to brainstorm the food in each group. T then teaches the quantity words and their grammatical rules on the textbook. Ss play the quick-eye game to practice the usage of the quantifiers. 2. Get to know your diet Ss work in pairs and talk about their diet. Then they share their partners’ diet in class. 3. Get to know healthy eating Ss watch a video to find out the reason why they should eat according to the healthy food pyramid. Then they give suggestions to their classmates based on the previous pair work results. Step 3 Production 1. Let’s think Students think about how to put food into the Eatwell Plate. T then shows Ss examples of the Eatwell Plate, and explains how to design it. 2. Let’s design and present Ss work in groups of four and design a healthy lunch with real paper plates. Every team member designs a part of the lunch. Each team then comes to the front and presents their design. Step 4 Summary T wraps up with a summary of the lesson and raises the affective goal of knowing the importance of healthy eating. T also uses the Self and Peer Assessment Checklist to help Ss reflect on their learning. Step 5 Homework 1. Think and share 请向朋友们介绍一下食物种类、健康饮食金字塔以及健康餐盘吧。
2. Write and draw 请写出家人的饮食习惯并在餐盘中画出来。再给他们提供一些建议吧。 3. Read and complete 请阅读下面关于“彩虹饮食”的文章,并完成思维导图吧。 4. Watch and learn 为什么饮食中不能摄入过多糖分呢?了解糖类对人体的影响吧。
