一、教材分析
What: 本课时语篇主要围绕如何开始一段对话这个话题进行读写任务的练习。Conversation 1是两个初次见面的同学开展的对话。对话中，两人主要交流了彼此的名字，拼写当时及友好问候。Conversation 2是两个认识的同学的对话，包含对彼此近况的询问及礼貌地告别。
Why: 本课时语篇通过不同情境语境可以帮助学生了解与不同的人打招呼的基本交际礼仪，了解并掌握如何询问别人的姓名，如何介绍自己及如何礼貌地告别。
How: 本课时先通过一个小测试使同学进一步加强对于开始一段对话的表达，在第一篇语篇中通过对话向同学们介绍了如何礼貌地询问别人名字的方式，如“May I have your name？”“How do you spell your name？”，向对方释放善意的表达，如“You can call me...”“Nice to meet you”等。在第二篇语篇中向同学们介绍了如何询问别人近况及对应答的表达，如“How are you？I’m fine, thank you. And you？”以及结束对话的礼貌问答，如“Goodbye.”“Bye.”接着通过对对话的读写练习，加深同学们对所学对话内容的掌握。
二、教学内容
1. 本课时的重点单词，短语和句子。
2. 区分熟人和陌生人之间的问候语，在正确语境中开展对话。
4. 锻炼学生抓取信息的能力。
三、教学目标

【情感、态度与价值观】
培养学生在不同情境下的交际能力，知道如何礼貌的开始对话及结束对话。能通过彼此的问候及对同学近况的询问，加深同学之间的情感。学会对其他人释放善意及小组协同合作。
四、教学重难点
重点：让学生掌握开启对话和结束对话的方式；让学生感知与陌生人和熟人打招呼之间的差异。
难点：引导学生在不同的场景使用不同的目标语言。

六、教学过程
Step 1 Lead-in
1. Plays a video about different greetings and ask students to think how to start a conversation.
2. Ask students to greet each other.
【设计意图】导入话题，引出学生兴趣，并观察学生是否进入课堂状态。
Step 2 Pre-reading
1. Work on 1a.
Tick the expression that start a conversation.
2. Prediction.
Let students look at the picture and answer these questions.
（1）Where are the students in the two pictures？
（2）What are they doing in the two pictures？

Step 3 While-listensing
1. Work on 1b
Let students read the two conversations and underline how people greet each other.
2. Get students to read the two conversations again and think about the following questions.
（1）Do the students know each other in the two pictures？
（2）How can you ask other’s name？
（3）How do they spell their name？And how should you spell your name？
（4）How do they start a conversation and end a conversation？
（5）Why do Helen and Yaming have to go to class？
【设计意图】通过提问引发学生思考，让学生关注对话的深层次内容，同时问题与实际生活相联系，让学生思考对话内容在实际生活中的应用。
Step 4 Post-reading
1. Work on 2a
Read the conversations in 1b again. Fill in the blanks with the correct responses in the box. Analyse whether they’re friends or not.
2. Conclude the different way of greeting in different situations and add more.

Complete the conversations. Then role-play them with a partner. Choose the best one among students.

一、教材分析
What: 本课时的主要内容是学会使用字典。
Why: 通过本节课的学习帮助学生了解字典的用处和编排顺序，让字典成为学生学习的小帮手。
How: 2a通过对字典内容的呈现，让学生自己去发现并总结字典的编排顺序。2b通过让学生对15个字母进行排序，巩固学生的字母基础。2c通过查单词比赛，使学生在实践中锻炼查字典的能力。
二、教学内容
1. 英文词典结构以及英文词典中单词排列的基本规律。
2. 按照英文的字母顺序在词典中查找单词，并找到单词的发音、解释、例句等信息。
三、教学目标
1. 学会使用字典，并通过字典的使用辅助英语学习。
2. 提高自主学习能力和动手实践能力。
3.让学生能够认识到工具书的作用，并正确使用工具书辅助自己的学习。
四、教学重难点
重点：1.认识并总结英语字典的编排顺序规律:按26个字母的顺序排列。
2.根据词典编排顺序规律，完成单词排序活动。
难点：学会快速查阅英语词典等相关类型的工具书，辅助自己的英语学习。

Step 1 Lead-in
1. Listen and sing alone with the song ABCs.
2. Practice the order of the letters.
写出下列字母的左邻右舍。

Step 2 Presentation
1. Work on 2a
Students read the dictionary pages in 2a, and circle the words in blue. Think about the following questions. （1）What order are the blue words？
（2）What other things can you see in the dictionary pages？
Then check your answer in your own dictionary.
【设计意图】创设真实情境，引发学生思考并关注今天的课堂重点。
2. Work on 2b
1. Number the following words in alphabetical order in the limited time.
2. Prepare another 20 words and let students work in groups and put them in the right order as quickly as fast.
3. Work on 2c
1. Divide students into groups. Show 10 new words on PPT and students look for the words in the dictionary and write down the meaning and the right page of the word on the blackboard.
2. Let students look for the words in 2c and write down the meaning and the right page of the word。Choose the 10 fastest students.
【设计意图】通过两轮形式不同的竞赛活动，将枯燥的查词活动变得生动有趣，激发学生的学习动力，帮助其更好的掌握词典的使用方法。
