一、语言能力及学习能力：1. 全体学生能理解并掌握课文内容。 2. 全体学生能理解并听、说、读、写单词nice, always, a bit, shy, e-card, quiet, him 3. 大部分学生能模仿课文对话并会说主要句子： This is … She’s / He’s very… But she’s / he’s a bit … 4. 大部分学生能使用本课所学句型结构来介绍自己的朋友的性格特点。 二、思维品质及文化品格：学生能在描述朋友性格特点的同时欣赏到朋友的优点，增强彼此的友谊，明白朋友的重要性。学习到朋友之间应该相互帮助相互影响和进步的意义。
教学重难点
教学重点：1. 全体学生能理解课文对话内容。 2. 全体学生能理解并介绍课文中三个人物的性格特点。 难点：多数学生能够运用准确的词和主要句型来介绍自己的朋友。
教学过程
一、Free talk 1.Greetings. 2.Let’s say: What can you see in the zoo T: Look, Here is the gate of the zoo. Look at this elephant. What’s the elephant like 三、Task presentation 1.Let’s watch: What’s the elephant like (Learn activity1) T: The elephant is ________. And very ________,too. The elephant is not only very big, but also very clever and naughty. 2.Watch and answer: Who are they (Learn activity2) T: Look at the picture. This is our friend Panpan. But do you know who are they Let’s watch and answer. （Watch the video）S: They are Panpan’s friends. T: Today Panpan will introduce his friends to us. Let’s have a look.
