Show the learning objectives to the class. Introduce Doctor Li to the class and tell the purpose of the lesson. Watch two videos and answer the questions. (1).Underline the sentences about exercise and compare the results. (2). Grammar learning (1) a. Teach students the use of " since" and " for" and ask them to conclude the rules. b. Fill in the blanks with "for" or "since". (3). Grammar learning (2) a. Change the sentence from past tense to present perfect tense and teach students to change non-continuous to continuous verb. b. Complete the sentences. Find out the second definition. (1). Read the passage and match the problems with the advice. (2). Watch the video, match the phrases and complete the sentences. 3. Conclude the definition of the "suitable exercise". 1.T mobilizes their analytical ability to find out the key information and compare them,T gets to know if the Ss can conclude the definition of“suitable exercise” by listening to their answers. 2.T notes if the Ss can finish the exercises correctly by checking their answers.设计意图: 1.学生通过学习理解,找到书中关键句,总结归纳出since和for的用法,理解并掌握将含有过去式句型向现在完成时句型的转化的方法,并通过完成相应练习,巩固所学。目的是锻炼学生的推理归纳能力,并通过思维导图帮助学生加深记忆,帮助学生将所学语法用于接下来的输出环节。 2.通过完成各项活动,学生可以本环节结束时推理总结出“suitable exercise”的定义。充分锻炼学生的思维能力和概括能力。Step3 Work in pairs, find out your partner’s suitable exercise. 1.Interview your partner with the questionnaire. Ss are assessed by their classmates. T makes comments and correct their mistakes if necessary.设计意图: 本环节要求学生通过问卷了解同伴的合适的运动。通过“说,写”的方式完成了语法的输出。3. Improve the health awareness, find a suitable exercise for yourselves and be ready to dedicate yourselves to our country with healthy bodies. Step4 Deep thinking and discuss. Think about“Why do we need to take suitable exercise ”and discuss in groups and share your opinions with the whole class. Do a survey to find the most suitable exercise for yourself. 2. Read "around the world" and summarize what WHO has done. Homework will be assessed by themselves, their classmates and the teacher through homework competition. Students will vote for the best homework.
