Unit 3 Amazing animals教案
第四课时(B. Let’s talk ＆ Play with hand shadows)
教学目标 1.能听、说、认读单词zoo，great，fox，panda，red，cute等；能运用句型“Let’s go to the ...”表示邀请并用“Great！”回应。听懂、会说句型“– What’s this / that – It’s a ...”并能在实际情景中进行运用。（语言能力） 2.通过参观动物园学习语言知识，培养学生热爱动物、热爱大自然的意识。（文化意识） 3.能理解对话中远近的不同，识别更多动物的外形。（思维品质） 4.能积极参与课堂活动，大胆用英语交流。（学习能力）
教学重点 能在实际生活中灵活运用句型“–What’s this / that – It’s a ...”来询问和回答动物的名称。
教学难点 掌握“What’s this？”和“What’s that？”的含义及区别。
教学过程 批注
Step 1 Warm-up&Lead in 结合生活实际进行话题讨论，自然导入新课学习，激发学生学习兴趣。
Warm up Greetings T: Hello, boys and girls. Ss: Hello, Miss / Mr … T: Good morning. Ss: Good morning. … Review 利用课件复习重点单词和句子，学生快速反应读出来。 Lead in（课前引入） Enjoy a song 教师播放歌曲Let’s go to the zoo的动画视频，带领学生一起观看、跟唱。 Free talk T: Do you like animals Where can we see many animals Ss: 电视里，书上，马戏团，动物园……(学生自由讨论) 课件依次呈现能看到动物的地方，引出单词zoo。 T: Great! We can see many animals in the zoo. Do you like the zoo Let’s go to the zoo, OK Ss: OK! T: Great! Let’s go to the zoo together.
Step 2 Presentation&Practice 用“Great!”评价学生，表达赞扬。有意识地在对话操练中运用本课出现的日常用语，不断渗透输出语言点。 通过图片对比让学生理解this和that的不同，并在不断操练中让学生理解、运用句型。 引导学生按照正确的语音语调朗读对话，并在角色扮演中进一步加深对对话的理解和掌握。
Presentation.（对话学习） Let’s talk 呈现课本B. Let’s talk板块的第一张图片，介绍对话背景。 T: Miss White and the kids are going to the zoo. 教师播放音频，学生跟读，在黑板上板书句型“Let’s go to the zoo.”和“Great!”，讲解句子意思，并带入角色进行师生间的对 话操练。 教师展示B. Let’s talk板块的第二张图片，提问引导学生细心观察 图片、预测对话内容。 T: Look! They see an animal. What’s this 教师播放音频，学生听音频回答。 T: Look, it’s a fox! Read after me, fox, fox, it’s a fox. 教师拿出fox的单词卡片贴在黑板上，边提问边板书句型：“– What’s this – It’s a ...”。教师讲解句子意思，强调this的用法。 PPT呈现知识点，教师讲解句型，并利用之前学过的动物单词进 行替换操练。 PPT展示B. Let’s talk板块的第三张图片，学生听音频回答问题。 T: Look, they see another animal. What’s that Do you know T: It’s a red panda! Read after me, red panda, red panda, it’s a red panda. Wow, it’s a red panda. 教师拿出red panda的单词卡片贴在黑板上离自己较远的位置，用 夸张的动作遥指red panda的卡片问：“What’s that ”并板书句型，让学生理解“What’s that ”和“What’s this ”的区别。 PPT展示red panda和panda图片，学生观察图片，区分两者的不 同，并教授单词cute。 T: Look at the pictures. What’s this Ss: It’s a red panda. T: Great! How about the other one What’s that Ss: It’s a panda. T: Yes! They’re cute! 板书cute，教师带读，学生跟读。 PPT呈现知识点，教师讲解句型，并利用之前学过的动物单词进 行替换操练。 PPT呈现B. Let’s talk板块的对话，教师逐句讲解，教读句子。 教师播放B. Let’s talk板块的音频，学生听音频，跟读对话，然 后分角色朗读对话。 四人一组分角色补全对话，教师请几组学生上台表演对话。对于 表现好的要表扬，发音不标准的要纠正。
Step 3 Consolidation&Extension 通过手影游戏培养学生的观察、模仿能力，寓教于乐，便于学生更好地记忆单词及句型。
Play with hand shadows PPT依次展示动物的手影图片，让学生猜是什么动物，教师尝试教学生相应的手影。 师生边做手影边模仿动物的叫声。 教师边做手影边询问学生：“What’s this ”，学生用“It’s a …”回答。 请几位学生上台，利用投影仪做出手影，并提问台下的学生：“What’s this ”，看谁猜得又快又准。
Step 4 Summary&Homework
1.小结:师生先共同口头总结，再用PPT完整呈现。 Key words: cute, fox, red panda Key sentences: —Let’s go to the zoo. —Great! —What’s this / that —It’s a ... 2.作业。 1）熟读Let's talk部分的对话； 2）运用所学句型编写两组对话； 3）与你的家人或朋友玩手影游戏。
教学 反思 1.本课的句型较多，在设计教学活动时我利用课本提供的情景一步一步引导学生理解每句话的意思，对重点句型进行操练，循序渐进，符合学生的年龄特点和认知水平。 2.本课的难点是What’s this 和What’s that 两个句型的比较和运用，通过摆放在不同位置的单词卡片及身体语言有效地帮助学生理解，并引入新图片让学生利用句型进行操练，降低学习难度，取得较好的效果。 板书 设计 Unit 3 Amazing animals B.
