Lead-in:
Review: the teacher shows some pictures of students at Sunshine Middle school. Then asks them how much they know about these students.
Students can also finish the following table in their groups.

Pre-writing:
Meet two more friends: Millie is writing about her new friends Kitty and Amy, listen and circle their looks, character and hobby.
Listen the conversation and get more information about Kitty and Amy and complete the sentences.
Cooperate with your partners and complete the table you finished before.
Practice: Look at the table you finished and retell something about these two students.
In a school, students are the most important, who else is also important -----teachers. Millie and Mr. Lin meet Simon.
Listen their conversation and find more information about Simon. Answer the following questions.

②Why does Simon like sports
③What will Simon do this afternoon
After answering, complete your table.

Evaluation Criteria Main Points Total Score(15')
Structure(3') at least 3 paragraphs; correct punctuation; case sensitive（区分大小写）
Content(5') include your name, looks, hobbies, character and reasons.
Language(5') correct spelling; use the phrases or sentences you have learned ( you need to underline)

Self-edition and peer-edition
Read your writing in front of the class and the teacher encourages students to correct and appreciate.
