Step 2 Before writing Introduce Jimmy to students. Jimmy comes and says hello to everyone and shares his experiences with students and then ask questions for students to answer. Step 3 While writing Give the task to students of writing a short article about the most valuable gift they have ever received. Help the students to learn about the five steps of writing process. First, brainstorm the topic. Give tips to students. Second, make an outline. Analyze Jimmy’s article and divide the listed ideas into different paragraphs. Third, make the first draft. Give tips to students and here students pause the video and finish their writing. Fourth, improve the writing. Let students know what exactly makes a good article. A logical structure, proper expressions, suitable linking words, correct grammar, pretty handwriting. Step 4 Post writing Let students evaluate their article according to the standard. Watch a short video and answer questions. Let students understand the most valuable gift has nothing to do with its price, but with the love and care behind it.
