教学过程
Steps Teacher’s Activity Students’ Activity
Lead-in Guessing game about Asian elephant. Guess what it is.
Step 1 Before reading Stimulate the students’ interest in elephants. Brainstorming about Asian elephants. Answer the questions about Asian elephants.
Step 2:While reading Ask the students to read the article and fill in the mind map. Fill in the mind map..
Step 3:While reading Ask the students to get the specific information of it. Make the mind map full .
Step 4:Post reading Think about why Asian elephants are in danger and get some ways to solve the problem in groups. Discuss how you can help Asian elephants.
Step5:Post reading and before writing. Ask the students to choose one of the endangered animals and follow the example to draw a mind map. Draw a mind map of an endangered animal you have chosen.
Step 6: While writing. Write fact files. Write their fact files.
Step 7: post writing. Ask them to pay attention to the details of expository writing. Improve their fact files and correct mistakes with their partners.
Step 8: Post writing. Ask them to show their writings. Show their writings.
