Provide constructive feedbacks for classmates.教学过程步骤教学活动设计意图Step 1: lead-in (5mins)T asks Ss to watch a short video about a theme park and think about what they saw in the video. T asks Ss to think about what else (apart from rides & attractions) in the video that adds fun to the theme park.通过视频引起学生对话题的兴趣,激活对话题的思考和引入相关词汇,如rides & attractions, shows & events。Step 2: review & summarize (5 mins) T provides a form and asks Ss to classify the information from the video into 3 categories. T asks Ss to review the text learnt in the previous lesson and classify the content by filling in the form. T asks Ss to find out the sentences of introduction from the passage.通过对视频相关信息进行分类处理,引导学生将已学文章信息进行分类,强化学生对主题乐园的认识,为后续的主题公园设计做好内容结构的铺垫。 Step 3: brainstorm (15 mins) T asks Ss to come up with creative theme park ideas, including themes, rides & attractions, shows & events and restaurants & food stands as well as a one-sentence introduction. T asks Ss the essential elements of a good poster. T shows a sample poster and ask Ss to evaluate the poster according to the essential elements.引导学生明确公园主题,并为主题公园设计相应的活动,表演和配套设备。 通过对海报范例的分析,为后续的海报设计做好铺垫。 Step 4: create (9 mins)T divides Ss in small groups and asks them to create a poster draft for their ideal theme park according to the checklist.学生通过分工协作,发挥个自所长,完成海报设计。Step 5: present and evaluate (5mins)T asks Ss to present their poster and evaluate their classmates’ poster according to the checklist.引导学生展示作品并互相评价,在展示和互评过程中进行反思。Step 6: assignment (1min)Polish the poster and post it in the classroom.
