My name is Timo Halla. I'm 13 years old. I live with my parents in Helsinki, Finland. Now it's December. Every Tuesday, I usually get up at 7:30. I often listen to the news or music. After breakfast, I walk to school. It's only a 10-minute walk. My school begins at 9:00. There are 18 students in my class. Each lesson is 45 minutes long and there is a break between lessons. We have one Finnish lesson and two home economics lessons in the morning. After that, I have lunch at 12:00. The afternoon lessons begin at 12:30 and finish at 2:15. Then I go to my ice hockey club.
I usually get home around 4:00. It is already dark outside. I often have dinner at 6:00. After that, I read with my parents for an hour. Then I prepare my schoolbag for the next day. At 9:30, it's time for me to go to bed.

(1)作形容词，意为“每日的；日常的”，相当于everyday，只作定语。

1．daily的用法
Language points
(1)only是副词，意为“只；仅”，在句中一般位于实义动词之前，be动词、助动词或情态动词之后。
eg：The girl is only four years old. 这个女孩只有四岁。
I only have a soccer ball. 我只有一个足球。
only也可作形容词，意为“仅有的，唯一的”。
eg：She is my only sister. 她是我唯一的妹妹。
(2)10 minute意为“十分钟的”，作定语，修饰名词walk。
这是由“基数词＋名词(＋形容词)”构成的复合形容词，中间用连字符连接，不论基数词表示的数量是多少，名词都用单数形式，只能作定语，不可作表语。
eg：He is an eleven year old student. 他是一名十一岁的学生。
I have a two month holiday. 我有两个月的假期。
2．It's only a 10 minute walk.步行只需10分钟。

(1)作名词，意为“休息；间断”。
have a break = take a break = take breaks = have breaks 意为“休息”
at break意为“在休息时间”。
eg：I have lots of work to do today.I can't have a break.

My uncle often listens to music at break.
我叔叔经常在休息时间听音乐。
(2)作动词，意为“(使)破碎；损坏”。

3．break的用法
Language points
finish是动词，意为“结束；完成”，其后接名词、代词或动名词作宾语。

4．finish的用法
Language points
(1)作副词，意为“在外面”，反义词为inside，意为“在室内，在里面”。
eg：It's sunny today.Let's go outside to play！

(2)作形容词，意为“外面的”。
eg：For kids，outside activities are more exciting.

(3)作介词，意为“在……外面”。
