课堂 导学 ◆Step 1 Lead-in Show the students some pictures about what they can do. Ask:What can he/she do Ss:He/She can draw/sing/dance/play chess/play ping-pong/act/... Our interests make us interesting,so develop your interests. ◆Step 2 Presentation Ask:What clubs do you know in our school Show the students some pictures about the school clubs and name them: English club,art club,music club,book club,basketball club,ping-pong club,football club,chess club,science club. Task 1 Read the club names and try to remember them. Task 2 Mind storm.Flash the pictures and get the students to say what club it is. Task 3 Match the school clubs with the pictures. ◆Step 3 Practise Ask the students to say something about the school clubs like the sample: I can play ping-pong and I want to join the ping-pong club. Tick some individual students to present their opinion about clubs. ◆Step 4 Listening Work on 1b-1c Pre-listening Get the students to skim the table before listening.

Tick several pairs to present their short conversations. ◆Step 7 Pronunciation Task 1 Listen and repeat the sounds and the words. Students practise reading,together or individuals.
