教学重难点
教学重点: be going to+v.; grasp information about plans while listening 教学难点: precisely use be going to+v.; wh-questions and answers make plans and can use colorful expressions to talk about it
教学过程
Step 1. Leading-in free talk: ask Ss “What do you usually do at the weekend ” Let Ss brainstorm and give some expressions. Then ask “What can we do at the weekend ” to practice the new phrases. Then ask “What are you going to do this weekend ” to lead out the structure. Step 2. Free-talk Practice the sentence patterns in pairs. Step 3. Listen and answer Listen and choose the best answers to the questions. Q1. What are they talking about A. plans B .sports meeting C. festival Q2. Where and when are they going to meet A. in the school at one o’clock B. in the park at two o’clock C. in the park at one o’clock Step 4. Listen and complete the table Step 5. Listen and answer Q1. Who else is going to see a movie with Daming and Betty Q2. What are Tony’s plan for the weekend Step 6. listen and imitate Q1. Who else is going to see a movie with Daming and Betty Q2. What are Tony’s plan for the weekend What is a fantastic weekend like in your mind Ss discuss about the questions and then imitate the conversation. Step 7. Group work Students in a group to plan a fantastic weekend and then share to the class. S1/2/3 ask and answer, S4 writes and reports. S1/2/3 may ask and answer like this: S1: What are you going to do at the weekend S2: I am going to… on Saturday/Sunday morning/afternoon/evening. S2: What are your plans for the weekend S3: On Saturday morning, I’m going to… In the afternoon, … On Sunday morning,… S4 may report like this: This is our fantastic weekend. On Saturday morning, we are going to… On… We are going to enjoy ourselves a lot at the weekend.
