My favorite thing from childhood is a teddy bear. I have had it for 12 years. My grandma gave it to me on my third birthday as a birthday gift.I like my teddy bear very much because it’s beautiful and dressed in my favorite color. I like it also because my grandma made it by herself. The teddy bear has given me many sweet memories. I remember when I was young, I was scared at night. So I slept with the teddy bear every night. It could make me feel safe. If I had to spend a night away from my home, I always brought it along with me. I want to say thanks to my teddy bear. I will keep it forever to remind me of my grandma.

A Gift from the Heart
It was the last day of that term. My classmates were very excited at the coming holiday. But my friend, Mike, looked unhappy because he failed the English test.
While thinking about how to cheer him up, I saw my English notebook. Although it was very important to me, I decided to give it to him. He looked at me in surprise. He knew how carefully I took the notes. I told him that I could also help him learn English. Mike has made progress with the help of my gift, the notebook. It's not expensive but it's from my heart.

My favorite birthday gift
I have a lot of birthday gifts and I like a bike best. I've had this bike since my twelfth birthday. My mother gave it to me as a birthday gift. My bike is black and it has two colorful wheels. It is always there with me, especially when I want to hang out with my friends. And it brings me a lot of fun. Sometimes my friends and I will have a bike competition. It is meaningful to me because it brings me a lot of happiness.

The thing I like best is a doll. I have had it for 5 years. My doll is a dog with big black eyes and curly white hair. I got it from my aunt on my 5th birthday. My roommates used to laugh at me about it, but I still kept it on my bed. I love it so much because it gives me happiness whenever I feel down.
