Quite a few students are shortsighted now. This is because some students watch TV for too long without breaks, and some keep their eyes too close to books when they read. Also, some even use smart phones to watch films, play games, read news too long. Poor eyesight causes problems in our life and makes our study difficult. For example, we can't swim without glasses. We can't become pilots. So it's important to protect our eyesight. What should we do First, we should relax after studying for hours. Second, we should keep doing eye exercises every day. Third, we must stay away from TVs, computers and smart phones. We shouldn't spend too much time on them. If we can do the above, I believe we will have good eyesight.

Last Saturday we visited a hope school as volunteers. It was a great way to know some other children's life. We had a party with the students there. We also helped them clean up their classrooms. We raised lots of money.
I think being a volunteer is really great and I'd like to help more people.

We should do chores at home
Now many students don't like doing chores at home. Some students think it's their parents' job to do chores at home and doing chores takes up their time for study. But I think we should help do chores at home because our parents are busy with their work and they are often tired after work. I often do chores at home, like making the bed, watering the flowers, cleaning the rooms, taking out the rubbish and so on.
In my opinion, doing chores is relaxing. And it can help us to learn to be independent. It's good for our future.

Doing Chores
Last Saturday, my parents, my brother and I all stayed at home. We decided to do some cleaning.
After breakfast, my mother did the dishes and swept the floor. My father cleaned the rooms and windows with my brother. I think it is fun to do the chores. I washed clothes all the morning. After finishing the chores, we were all tired. But when we saw the clean house, we felt very happy.
I think since we live in one house with our parents, we should do our part in keeping it clean and tidy.
