Last Saturday, I took Peter, a student from America, to experience some Chinese culture. Everything he experienced that day was a great attraction to him. In the morning, Peter and I went to visit a tea museum, where he learnt a lot about Chinese tea. After that, I took him home and taught him to make zongzi. Although it was a bit difficult, he still enjoyed it. In the afternoon, we had a Chinese class, learning the Chinese characters. He also tried to write some characters with a Chinese brush, and even lost himself in it. Peter kept saying “amazing” all the way. It made me feel really proud of our rich culture.

I went to Lhasa with my parents during the summer vacation. Lhasa is a beautiful city in Tibet. When we arrived there, we first visited the Potala Palace. It is the largest palace and one of the symbols of Tibet. Then we went to Namtso, which is the second largest lake in Tibet. The lake water there is as blue as the sky. We spent a great time there and watched the beautiful sunset. I also ate delicious local food, such as zanba . Before going back, we went to a shopping mall to buy some gifts for our friends.
Lhasa has a long history as well as beautiful natural views. I like it very much. The trip was exciting and interesting, and it increased my knowledge about Tibetan culture.

My Summer Vacation
During the summer vacation, my parents and I went to Beijing for a trip. We went to see the Palace Museum as soon as we got to Beijing. We were very excited when we saw it and we took a lot of photos there. On the second day, we went to climb the Great Wall. It is one of the greatest wonders in the world.
We saw a lot of tourists there. With the help of the tour guide, we learned a lot of information about it. At last we went shopping in the city center of Beijing—Wangfujing Street. We bought a lot of souvenirs for our friends there.
We enjoyed our trip very much. It was a wonderful experience and I will never forget it.

It was sunny today. I had a trip with my family.
In the morning, we climbed the hills. On the top of the hills we flew kites. We also planted trees. At noon, we enjoyed the food we brought in a big tent. The food tasted delicious. In the afternoon, we visited a big farm in the countryside. We fed hens and ducks. We also saw lots of baby pigs there. What a great day! All of us felt tired but really happy.
