Greetings. Greet students. Divide them into several groups. The group which gets the most points will be the winner. 2. Quick review. Review the words and the phrases of the locations “in front of, near, next to, behind, between” with the pictures. (课件出示: 表示方位介词的图片) 3. Read and guess. Read the sentences and guess what places they are. 4. Lead-in. Present the main scene on page 2.(课件出示: Unit 1主情景图) T: What can you see in the main scene Ss: We can see a hospital, a park, a restaurant… T: Here are Wu Binbin and Robin. Wu Binbin likes robots very much. Where can Wu Binbin go Ss: He can go to the science museum. T: Where is the science museum How can he get there Today we’ll learn “Unit 1 How can I get there ” Write down the title of “Unit 1” on the blackboard. Step 2 Presentation A Let’s try 呈现Wu Binbin和Robin一块去看机器人的场景图片,导入新课。 T: What are these Ss: They are robots. T: What are they doing Ss: ... T: Wu Binbin and Robin are looking at some robots. Where can they see these robots 课件呈现Let’s try板块的习题,学生快速浏览两道练习题。 播放录音,学生完成Let’s try板块的两个小题。 T: Where are they Ss: In the museum. T: Is Grandpa there Ss: No, he isn’t. 再次播放录音,学生跟读课文。 A Let’s talk 呈现Wu Binbin和Robin在博物馆的场景图片。 Wu Binbin wants to buy a postcard in the museum. And he wants to send it today. Watch and tick. 课件呈现三个问题,学生快速浏览习题。 播放Let’s talk板块的视频,学生观看视频后选出正确答案。 T: Where is the museum shop Ss: A. T: Does Robin know where the post office is Ss: B. T: Where is the post office Ss: B. Listen and repeat. 播放录音,学生跟读课文。 Step 3 Practice 1.“小小设计师”活动 教师先带领学生认读六个表示场所的单词或短语:library,post office,hospital,science museum,cinema,bookstore,接着告诉学生:“现在你们都是城市设计师,请大家设计一张地图,设计之后会有记者来采访。”让学生利用单词卡片设计城市规划图,并在班级里选几名学生充当小记者去采访“设计师”,逐个提问:“Where is the hospital/… ”由“设计师”来回答问题。 2.小组间比比记单词。每组六个人,一人做动作,剩下5个人根据动作说单词,反映应该快和准,比一比哪个小组最优秀,如:看书动作就是bookstore。 Step4:Make a summary. Lead students to make a summary of this class. Let them conclude the key words and sentence structures they’ve learned.
