教学重难点 能够理解和掌握本课时的重点词汇和句型。 能够运用本单元的词汇和句型为他人指路并能简单介绍景点。
教学准备 课件、相关音频视频和实物教具(单词卡片物品等)。
教学过程 Step 1: Warm-up & Revision & Lead-in 1. Greetings. Greet the class. Divide them into several groups and tell them, “If you can be brave, active and open-minded in class, your group can get more points. The group which gets the most points will be the winner.” 2. Let’s chant. Make a presentation first and show students how to do it. Then students clap hands and say the chant, and then chant with the teacher. (出示课件) 3. Lead-in. Present the picture of “Let’s learn”. Lead students to observe the picture and guess what they are doing. (课件出示:教材P7 Let’s learn板块的图片) T:Where are Wu Binbin and Mike Ss:They are on the street. T:What are they doing there Ss:Maybe they are asking the way. Step 2 Presentation Watch and answer. 播放视频,学生观看视频并回答。 T: How can they get there Turn left or turn right Ss: Turn left. Listen and repeat. 教师播放录音,学生跟读课文。 课件呈现crossing, turn left, turn right 和go straight的图片,学生跟读单词。 Step 3 Practice 1. Play a game. (1)Guess the words. 课件呈现单词turn, straight, crossing, right, left,开头或结尾被遮住,学生快速猜测并读出单词。 (2)地雷游戏。 教师在黑板上其中的一个单词下方画上地雷,学生读黑板上的单词,遇到有地雷的单词就要安静。 (3)看动作说词组。 请一名学生到讲台前做出turn left/right, go straight的动作,其他学生说词组。(此活动可以在小组内完成。) 2. Be a tour guide 在班级中举办“最佳导游”选拔赛。比赛程序先在小组内参加,再选出代表参加全班评比。 参考句型:Now we are in front of/near/next to...Go straight /go along/..Turn left/right at ... You can see.... Step4:Make a summary. Lead students to make a summary of this class. Let them conclude the key words and sentence structures they’ve learned. Lead students to learn to read the maps and be brave to ask for directions when they don’t know the way.

以思维导图的形式展示课时名称和重点词汇、句型。
三、作业设计
Write a short passage to show a tour of your favourite place in your hometown. Do the exercises.
四、教学反思
本课时主要是让学生根据所学的指令语描述到达目的地的线路。在教学过程中,学生能够很轻易地区分左右并且能用英语流利地表达出来。
