教学目标 ☆语言知识 能听懂Let’s check部分的听力内容并完成相关练习； 能熟练运用next to, near等方位介词（短语）说句子。 ☆思维&情感&文化 培养学生的听力能力和知识迁移能力。 在开展小组活动时，教育学生要积极地与他人合作，互相帮助，共同完成学习任务。
教学重难点 （1）能够较好的完成Let’s check，培养学生良好的听力习惯。 （2）巩固复习归纳所学的介词词组。 （3）能够理解故事内容。 （4）通过故事复习巩固本单元的重点语言。 难点：能够表演故事，恰当运用故事中的语言。
教学准备 课件、相关音频视频和实物教具（单词卡片物品等）。
教学过程 Step 1: Warm up 1. Greetings. Greet the class. Divide them into several groups and tell them, “If you can read loudly, clearly and correctly in class, your group can get more points. The group which gets the most points will be the winner.” 2. A quick review of the key words and phrases of this unit. (1)Bingo game. (出示课件) Help students review these words and phrases “science museum, post office, bookstore, restaurant, cinema, hospital, library, school, park” quickly. （游戏说明：呈现一个九宫格，每个格子中有一张建筑物的图片，选择一个格子并正确拼出格中图片的单词，使横行、竖行或斜行连成一条线的小组就是获胜组。） (2)Traffic police game. (出示课件) Help students review these words and phrases “crossing, turn left/right, go straight”. (游戏说明：请一位学生到讲台上来出示指示牌，其他同学起立扮演交警。活动过程中动作做错的同学需要坐下，两轮过后，站立同学最多的一组为优胜组。) (3)Be a city guide. (出示课件) Help students review the expressions of giving directions. (游戏说明：呈现一张城市地图，请一位同学扮演导游，另一位扮演游客，根据游客想要参观的地方展开交流。) Give the sentence structures: A: Excuse me, how can I get to… / Excuse me, where is… B: You can…/It’s… Step 2 Presentation Let’s check 1. 呈现Let’s check部分图片，学生看图说出对应场所的名称。 T: Do you remember these places Ss: Hospital, post office, school, cinema, bookstore, museum. Listen and tick the places you hear. 播放录音，学生勾出所听到的单词，然后师生一起核对答案。 Write the words under the pictures. 学生在课本上写出对应场所的单词，然后师生一起核对答案。 Listen again and answer. 学生快速浏览Let’s check部分的习题，提前预测听力重点内容。 老师播放录音，学生根据所听到的内容完成两个题目。 师生一起核对答案。 Where does the boy want to go He wants to go to the museum. How can he get there from the post office He can go straight ahead and turn right at the cinema. Listen and repeat. 教师再次播放录音，学生跟读。然后教师引导学生找出短文的关键信息。 B. Let’s wrap it up 1. 以小组为单位，请学生们列举出所学过的方位介词。看哪组列举得又快又多又准。 T: Can you say sentences with these words S1: The bookstore is next to the school. Make sentences. 呈现一张地图，教师问问题，学生利用方位介词描述该场所的位置。 T: Where is the post office Ss: The post office is next to the science museum. T: Now I’m in the cinema. How can I get there Ss: ... Story time 呈现Story time板块的图片，介绍故事背景，引导学生预测故事内容。 T: What does Zoom want to do Ss: He wants to eat the food. T: Where can he buy it Watch and answer. 播放视频，老师问问题，学生回答问题。 T: Where is the London Eye S1: It’s next to the film museum near the Thames. T: How can they get to the Thames S2: Go straight and turn left. Listen and repeat. 老师讲解Thames和London eye的背景知识并介绍两者的位置关系。 课件播放录音，学生跟读课文。 Look and order. 课件呈现故事的图片，学生根据故事发展情节给这些图片排序。 Role-play. 学生上台表演故事。 Step 3 Practice 调整故事的文本，分组进行角色练习，然后表演故事。 Step4:Make a summary. Lead students to conclude the key words and sentence structures they’ve learned in this class.

以思维导图的形式展示课时名称和重点词汇、句型。
三、作业设计
1. 复习本单元重点单词和句型。 2. 完成本课时对应的练习。
四、教学反思
本节是一节复习课。在Let’s check部分的教学中，要求学生看图猜测画面图片并写出各图片对应的单词。一方面复习了前面所学的词汇，另一方面也有利于让学生掌握相关的听力策略，减少听力障碍。
