Greetings. 2. Let’s watch and sing. Play the video of the song in Unit 2—How do you get there (出示课件) T:What can you see in the video Ss:Subway, taxi, airplane, ship... T:Yes, you are right. There are many ways to go to some places. 3. Look and predict. Show the picture of the main scene of Unit 2 in the textbook. (课件出示:Unit 2主情景图) Let students look at the picture carefully. Then ask some questions to lead them to predict the main idea of the dialogues. The questions are like these: Where are they (They are at a crossroads/at school.) ②What can you see (Four people and a subway station. / Amy, Mike and many bikes.) ③What are they talking about (Ways to go to school.) T:Yes! In this unit we’re going to talk about “Ways to go to school”. Write down the topic “Unit 2 Ways to go to school” on the blackboard. Step 2 Presentation A. Let’s try 课件呈现Main scene板块图片,教师介绍听力背景。 T: Amy meets Mike at school this morning. T: How does Amy come to school Ss: On foot. 学生先浏览题干,提前预测Let’s try听力重点内容。 老师播放录音,学生完成Let’s try的两道判断题。 Q1: They are talking about a sports meet. Q2: They will go by bus. 老师再次播放录音,学生跟读听力原文。然后在听力原文中找出关 键信息“will”“by bus”。 Let’s talk 课件呈现Let’s talk板块图片,引导学生观察图片。 T: Look! There’s Mrs Smith now! How does she come to school How do Mike and Amy come to school Watch and and fill in the table. 学生先浏览习题,预测对话的重点内容。 老师播放视频,学生完成表格。 T: How does Mike come to school Ss: By bike. T: How does Amy come to school Ss: On foot and by bus. T: How does Mrs Smith come to school Ss: On foot and by car. Listen and repeat. 播放录音,学生跟读对话。 教师讲解词汇“Mrs”和“early”。 教师讲解频度副词usually,often和sometimes。 Fast reaction. 课件呈现usually,often和sometimes,学生快速读出单词。 Listen and fill in the table. 学生再次听录音,完成表格。 T: How does Mike come to school S1: He often comes to school by bike. T: How does Amy come to school S2: She usually comes to school on foot, sometimes by bus. T: How does Mrs Smith come to school S3: She usually walks, sometimes by car. Look and say. 根据表格内容描述他人的出行方式。 eg. Mike often comes to school by bike. Step 3 Practice 1. Play a game “Who is fast ” 教师说句子,如: I go to school by plane./I come to school by ship. 学生马上做出判断是否符合逻辑,若符合逻辑则跟读,不符合逻辑则双手交叉说No. 教师示范几次,学生来说句子。 设计意图:训练学生理解描述交通方式的句子。 2. 活动“我是小小调查员。” 调查班里的同学来上学的交通方式,完成P14的调查任务,并进行全班汇总。 参考句型:—How do you come to school —I usually/often/sometimes... Step4:Make a summary.
