教学重难点 熟练掌握职业名词及问答职业的句型;能够在实际情景中灵活运用所学句型进行日常交际。
教学准备 多媒体课件、图片、卡片、相关音频或视频
一、教学过程
Step 1- Warm up&Revision Greeting. Revision 课件出示:一些不同职业的图片及其职业词汇,如:driver, doctor, cook, farmer, basketball player, dancer, singer 等,最后在中间呈现“jobs” Lead in T: What does your father/mother do S1: He’s/She’s a... ... Step 2-Presentation Let’s try 课件呈现一张教室的图片,教师引导学生观察图片,导入新课。 T: Today is Parents’ Day. Our friends’ parents will come to school to meet the teachers. Who will come 学生浏览题干,提前预测Let’s try听力重点内容。然后老师播放录 音,学生完成Let’s try的两道练习题。 Q1: Sarah's mother can/can't come today. S1: Sarah's mother can come today. Q2: Her father is a doctor/teacher/taxi driver. S2: Her father is a doctor. 老师再次播放录音,学生跟读听力原文。然后在听力原文中找出听力题的关键信息“My mother is coming.”和“He’s a doctor.”。 Let’s talk 课件呈现Sarah和Oliver对话的场景,引导学生猜测对话内容。 细读文本,学习对话。 (1)Read the text again and discuss in a group. Questions: ①Where is Oliver’s father today ②What does his father do ③What does his mother do (2) Report the answers. T: Where is Oliver’s father today S1: He’s in Australia. T: What does his father do (课件展示句子) Ss: He’s a businessman. T: Yes. He often goes to other countries. (课件呈现句子,板书country,结合教材插图,学生猜测词义,理解句子,带读句子,齐读句子) T: What does his mother do Ss: She’s a head teacher.(板书head teacher,学生猜测词义,齐读句子。) (3)T: Does Oliver want to be a head teacher? Ss: No. T: What does he want to be Ss: He wants to be a businessman.(课件呈现句子,理解句子) T: What do you want to be one day (板书句型I want to be... one day,引导学生用此句型练习说话) S1: I want to be ... one day ... 听录音跟读文本。 分角色练习对话,表演对话。 Step 3-Practise 1. Make a dialogue in pairs.两人一组仿编对话。 2. Do a survey. 在班里走动调查同学的父母或兄弟姐妹的职业,填在表格内。(教师可提供更多职业单词和词组帮助学生开展活动) Name mother father brothersister
参考句型:—What does your... do —He’s/She’s... Step 4- Summary 师生共同回顾本课时所学的职业名词及问答职业的句型。
二、板书设计
以思维导图的形式展示课时名称和重点词汇、句型。
三、作业设计
1. 熟读并背诵本节课对话内容。 2. 完成相关练习。
四、教学反思
本课采用游戏的方式复习了上节课所学的职业名词,一方面拓展了学生的词汇量,另外一方面也帮助学生唤醒旧知,激发学生的学习兴趣。在教授对话的过程中,通过帮助学生读懂题目,逐步引导学生预测对话的重点内容。
