教学重难点 能够理解和掌握本课时的重点词汇和句型。 能够在情景中恰当运用句型“—Where is the… —It’s…”询问地点并作答。
教学准备 课件、相关音频视频和实物教具(单词卡片物品等)。
教学过程 Step 1: Warm-up & Revision & Lead-in 1. Greetings. Greet students. Divide them into several groups and tell them, “If you can be brave, active and open-minded in class, your group can get more points. The group which gets the most points will be the winner.” 2. Let’s sing. T:Let’s watch the cartoon and sing the song—Where is the hospital (课件出示:歌曲《Where is the hospital 》的视频) 3. Lead-in. Present the main scene on page 2 and ask questions according to the scene. (课件出示:Unit 1主情景图) T:Where is the hospital / Where is the library Ss:It’s… T:The school is on the left side of the library. / The post office is on the right side of the library. Present the new words “left, right”. Lead students to learn the new words by hand gestures and read them after the recording. (课件出示:left和right的相关内容) Write down “left, right” on the blackboard. Step 2 Presentation B. Let’s try 呈现Mike和Wu Binbin在打电话的情景,导入新课。 听录音前,请学生读题,引导学生预测听力重点内容。 播放音频,学生完成练习题。 T:They want to go to the bookstore. Ss: × T:The cinema is next to the bookstore. Ss:√ 呈现听力原文,老师引导学生在原文中找出关键信息。再次播放录音,学生跟读听力原文。 课件呈现地图,学生尝试根据地图复述关键句型。 T: How can Mike get to the cinema Ss: Go to the Main Street. Turn left at the bookstore. B. Let’s talk 课件呈现Mike和Wu Binbin看完电影的场景,导入新课。 T:Where are they now Ss: They are in front of the cinema. Watch and tick. 学生先读题,预测对话的重点内容。 播放视频,学生选择正确的答案。 T:Do Wu Binbin and Mike like the film S1: A. T:What does Mike like S2: B. T:Where is the restaurant It's next to the ____. S3: B. 教师带读课文并讲解句型“What an interesting film!”,学生跟读课文。 “What an interesting film!”是由what引导的感叹句。 结构:What+a/an +形容词+可数名词单数! 9.教师讲解单词pizza, steak, restaurant, street, interesting, get。 Step 3 Practice 1. Make a new dialogue (1)小组合作创编对话。 Talk about a cinema or restaurant you like. 参考句型: A: I like________. Where is the _______ B: It’s ________ the _______ on _________ Street. A: How can we get there B: __________________________ A: OK. Let’s go. (2)小组练习。 2. Talk and draw 两人一组,各自手上拿着一张不同的worksheet。上面写有自己想去的场所,自己想去的街区图,但没标记路线。学生互相交流,根据对方的信息在图里画出自己要去的地方的路线。 参考句型:How can I get there Go straight. Turn left/Turn right. Step4:Make a summary. T: What did you learn about this lesson 学生自由发言,教师总结。 1. get to, get there的用法。 2. “在某街道”应说:on... Street 3. 问路的句型:How can we/I/you get there 回答:Turn left/ right at the ...

以思维导图的形式展示课时名称和重点词汇、句型。
三、作业设计
Practice the dialogue. Write down your new dialogue. Do the exercises.
四、教学反思
通过出示城市平面图,要求学生看图问答各场所的相对位置,同时还复习了所学的方位介词,进一步培养学生的方位感。
